This is our go to Chinese delivery place in Janesville! Awesome crab rangoon , delicious beef with mixed vegetables, legit egg rolls, and yummy orange chicken. Nothing is greasy. The delivery is always sooner than predicted and the customer service is exemplar!

Our first time ordering from here and we were happily surprised. We were told it would take 40 minutes but arrived in less than 20.Started with egg rolls, which were shorter than we are used to but also larger in diameter. The veggies inside were fresh and crunchy with just a hint of heat. Very tasty.Fried dumplings were nice with excellent dough but the filling was just a bit under seasoned. The sauce made the difference between blah and excellent. Worth getting again.The wonton soup was excellent. The wonton filling was better than expected after the dumplings and the broth was seasoned just right.Our shrimp lo mein was a little different as the noodles were mostly short but that made it less messy. Plenty of shrimp, not over cooked and a nice sauce. We'll try the pork version next time.The beef with mushrooms was the best. FRESH and perfectly cooked mushrooms in a sauce that is not quite the same as what you expect. It's better than what we are used to. Next time will be beef and broccoli. As transplants from the east coast, we expect a lot of a Chinese restaurant. Until today we had a different favorite Chinese joint.

Good average Chinese food! Long waits during busy times. I advise calling for pickup.

We received a flyer from the Oriental Express in Janesville and thought we'd check it out. Tonight, Dec 19, we ordered small portions of:Shrimp Lo MeinWonton SoupVegetable Fried RiceSweet and Sour ChickenSpring RollThe shrimp was bland and lacked vegetables and shrimp.The Wonton soup was pure salt (and straight from a can). The dumplings were also very salty and had an odd flavor (i took one bite and spit it out. my wife threw it all out.).The vegetable fried rice was really bland (like something you'd get in a grocery store) and was very light on veggies.The sweet and sour sauce was very runny and lacked flavor. The chicken was passable but since the veggie fried rice and the sauce were not good, it made the overall dish not good.Spring rolls were fine. Straight from the freezer, but fine. Too bad. The Oriental Garden has only been open for two months. By all appearances it is run by a very nice young man who took time to blanket a two-mile radius with his flyers to attract business. He needs to put some of that effort into his food.

Best Chinese in Janesville! Ordered takeout and it was ready within a reasonable time and the lunch menu prices are very affordable! Will be going here for Chinese everytime!

Order a General Tso Chicken and the food was cold and not fully cooked would not recommend to eat here plus the place didn't look clean at all... Waste of $11 this is going in nearest trash

We ordered takeout, and I am happy to say that this is the best Chinese place in Janesville. It is NOT even a close comparison. Wonderful food, service, and speed. Thank you very much.

Great food, reasonable prices! The hot and sour soup, crab ragoon, pork fried rice and shrimp fried rice very good!

When they first opened it was good food. Now, it's nasty and cheap frozen food mostly. The wait time after ordering is ridiculous.
