On The Way Cafe

Stopped here for breakfast with the family, and although they were pretty busy, the food was good and the service was excellent. I had the eggs Benedict, which was tasty...good, but not quite great. My son had the chocolate chip waffles, which he really enjoyed. My wife had some eggs and toast, which she also enjoyed. I would have to say a 3 for the food, and a 4 for the service. The food came pretty quickly, and the waitress did an excellent job of keeping our coffees full. We will be back!

We really liked the breakfast and the customer service. They were busy but our server kept up.

Great little breakfast/lunch spot in rural Wisconsin! Love seeing beef tips with noodles and ham w/ scalloped potatoes on the menu... excellent mid-west feel and good food and service. Thanks for the hospitality:)

This is a decent little breakfast spot. It gets very busy on the weekends so don't go in expecting a quick meal. We went on a Friday morning and again on a Sunday morning, each stop took at least an hour. The food was good although I would recommend avoiding the hash browns they were very greasy and the gravy is straight out of a packet nothing special about it. They do have delicious French toast and jams served with their toast. The server was very friendly and did a great job.

We've been looking for a good breakfast place since we moved here. Eggs cooked perfectly, biscuits and gravy tasty, good coffee, cozy atmosphere, and amazing prices. We will be going back, possibly making this our go to place for breakfast.

Whoa! Stopped in for breakfast recently on a whim. This place is unassuming and does their cafe thing right. Service was spot on, very friendly and attentive and the food was exactly what I was looking for. Lots of choices and homemade pie to seal the deal when the time comes :)

Went around 1pm, clean and quiet. Really friendly staff. Food was great and there was plenty of it. Definitely recommend checking it out.

Ambiance was good. Cafe was clean. waitress was good but food delivery was poor. At least 5 customers came in after us, orders taken, food delivered and most left before we received our food. The cook prepares orders as they see fit not how they were received. Our order was simple...two eggs, American fries, bacon and toast. Food was good but not great. Continue on to Montello for breakfast.

Although we had to go a little Out of the way to get here, my husband & I stopped here for breakfast and had a wonderful experience. Cute restaurant, very clean, fun decorations, family run - even had the owner's adorable toddler grandson walking around smiling at customers. Service was perfect, food was very good, very reasonable prices - just couldn't ask for more. I travel for work all over, and rarely write reviews but had to give a shout out to this little gem. We will go out of the way again to visit this restaurant.
