Om Asian Market and Liquor Store

I needed a Filipino ingredient so this was the closes. It's a liquor store and Asian market a small one. They do have some Filipino stuff but not much. I did get soy sauce only had one left. Few seasoning, frozen Filipino sausage and Tocino. Otherwise not much.

I've been going here about once a month to stock up on various asian cooking supplies. Today I got kicked out for "not having a shopping list." Something about only letting three people in the store due to covid. Limiting access is great for the pandemic, but I was literally the only customer in the store and the lady was super annoyed I didn't need help finding anything. I'll be going to another asian grocer from now on.

Great selection, friendly service, and they always have what you need without being overwhelming. Highly recommend!

Yesterday june 21 I asked my husband where I can get cow ghee he told me to go to this market he knew they have the ghee bec he went there before i was with him that day but I stayed in the car that was in because that time I couldn't walk bec I had a knee surgery, when I got to the store first thing the lady ask me was are you from Malaysia? I said no I am from the Philippines but she had the ghe ready for me bec I called and asked before I came to the store which is good I don't have to look for it myself she said that that I don't have to wear mask I didn't know that bec I just got back from a vacation outside the country but anyways she started talking about Turkish people and telling me about spy I don't know anything about I feel like I was being harassed don't get me wrong I really like this store because you have everything I need you name it you have it I was happy but sad that that's the first time I discovered a place like this but I want to go back there again but I told my husband what happened I feel uncomfortable to go there even though I really love the place

They really take the time to get to you and the neighborhood. Friendly staff and employees. The options that they have is incredible for people that want something different for dinner. Their meat department is the cheapest around and tastes better than the big chains and they can cut to order. I highly recommend you stop in and give them a look, they are always happy to help you with different options about cooking.

Huge selection for a large variety of ethnicities, knowledgeable owner. Very affordable spices, wish I knew how to use more of them.

Best Eggs I have found in Dane County for a very reasonable price. Their eggs taste and look like something you would get at a local farm. Orange Yolks and authentic taste. Variety of ethnic foods as well.

Convenience store & priced accordingly. Still great selection & fresh catfish at the butcher counter. Polite & helpful staff.

place was near by so i went for convience....but with many experiences i have, i now go out of town to grab what i need if the other oreintal market dont have what im looking for..poor attitude and poor communications...and most of all the way they treat they talk to their employees..high turn over rate of new employees that i see....i rather just avoid supporting this place....i also get it that they just want to help their customers..but everytime i go i feel like being pressure from a car salesman whose trying to sell me a car..shouldnt feel this way..hope they change the way they talk to ppl and try to market their products to be less aggressive..

Convenient for shopping Indian groceries in sun prairie or east side. Other such stores are far away in west side. Not perfect, but convenient for those on east side.
