Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

The last thing I'd ever expect to be doing is giving a 5 star review to an Olive Garden. I'm not a fan of the chain. The reason we went was unique -- my mother was a huge fan of OG and passed away a few months ago.We decided to honor her and go. I even ordered her favorite chicken Marsala and her favorite chicken gnocchi soup.Here's the deal. Despite what preconceived notions I had about Olive Garden coming through the door, I have to hand it to this location. From the service to the food, everything about this visit was great.Both the soup and the chicken were really tasty, and our server was super nice and very attentive. There was nothing but positives about this experience.

Date of visit: December 26, 2024I already know what you are thinking when you see this star rating, but hear me out first:We were with some good friends that had a gift card and it's been quite some time since any of us had been to an OG. Adding on that our friend's mom had passed away recently and we were going to honor her as she was a big fan of the Olive Garden.We were seated right away and taken to a nice booth tucked into the back of the restaurant. Our friends ordered drinks and our server, Domonick, kept the water coming throughout the meal. He was incredibly friendly and we really wanted for nothing during our time here.My chicken and gnocchi soup was fantastic. The breadsticks kept coming out hot and fresh. My shrimp scampi was phenomenal. My husband's chicken scampi was equally tasty.Yes, it's a chain and it's unlikely that the food was not prepared or served by anyone with even a drop of Italian blood, but that doesn't take away from the wonderful experience.

Being out & about on a Monday night & there are not many options NW Milwaukee. We drove by Olive Garden & my son asked to go. I haven't been in years and he has never been. We usually don't local & not big chains, but I told him about unlimited soup, salad & bread sticks. That has always been a good deal & it was a hit tonight. The restaurant was busy for a Monday, clean, friendly and prompt service. Everything came out very timely, fresh & hot. I luv the cuppa, my son liked the gnocchi soup. We each had two soups, two salads & a hahandful of bread sticks. Everything is still good & unlimited, $11.50. Enjoy.

I have ordered from this location a few times. The first time the food was good and there was no complaints. The second time, I found pieces of a plastic glove in my spaghetti and sauce. I was very upset. A few months went by and I decided to try it again and guess what I found? Part of a Blue Glove in my pasta. The fourth time around I had some breadsticks to go and I took a bite a long black hair was in the breadstick. What is going on with the quality of food at Olive Garden?

I love OG. Not perfect, and food is good, but it is the lively atmosphere and fun that you have at these places that make it so worthwhile. This OG is the same as the rest. Clean, good service, yummy food. I had the ravioli carbonara, my daughter had the ziti, my other daughter had spaghetti and meatball and the wife had chicken parm. This is a great, relaxed place to bring the fam. Go.

I love Olive Garden and waited more than two decades for a location in Menomonee Falls, but this location is the WORST. We don't go to this location if we can help it, but we gave it a third chance recently and that will be its last.My complaint about this location after three separate visits is this location is not clean. The floor, table, and chairs had crumbs and wrappers on it. I tried not to inspect further but noticed immediately while waiting for our table and didn't get better on the way to the table or at it.The service at this location is horrible. It's slow and unorganized. I can't say anyone was friendly either. They sat people who came in after us first, and they were not on a list. During our recent visit, our waiter made a rude comment about my pasta being almost gone and me eating quickly.Lastly, the food isn't very good at this location maybe in part because the service is so terrible. Our breadsticks were burnt, which made them hard. They also have the worst Coca-Cola, their formula is off.I love Olive Garden and have left many positive reviews for other locations, but the Menomonee Falls location is a bust.

We had very good service and a very good meal tonight. Everything was spot on. Our server Genesis was friendly, quick and professional. Really s very good experience, nice see such young people working together as a team! Bravo!!

Service started out well but tapered off once we got our meals. Waitress got a few orders wrong. We got seated right away but it was a Tuesday night. Ambiance was like any other Olive Garden. Food was as expected so no issues there. Just need better wait staff.

Place was clean. Food was fresh, delicious and it was served fast. We were lucky to have Joshua's exceptional service tonight. He was extremely friendly, thoughtful and incredible high energy. It made our day!
