best Mexican Seafood place I've been to in IL. it's so yummy and authentic. We ordered the Kora shrimp dinner and the Molcajete.

Great food and service, the atmosphere is great. Good for families. The torre de mariscos was awesome. Definitely recommended for families.

Wow what a gem! Everything was delicious and fresh. The ceviche is especially delicious.The wait staff is super sweet and lovely!

Pre-Father's Day dinner at this restaurant. Saw it when they just opened but never came around to eating here until today. So glad that we did!!Conveniently close to home. Plenty of parking space. Restaurant is spacious and clean. We had a very early dinner so we were able to choose our table. Not many customers but by the time we finished eating, more people came in. Pleasantly surprised to be served Ceviché, salsa, and chips right away since we did not order it. Even better, it was complimentary. Nice touch!! Had the Cantaritos Special. Great presentation!! It's a fruit drink with Tajín and Tamarind. A mini bottle of Tequila is laced with what tasted like Chamoy. It was delicious!! My new favorite drink!! Our food was delivered quickly. We ordered the Shrimp Empanadas with Mozzarella Cheese. Intrigued as I thought it was a weird combination. What an excellent pairing!! Generous portions of Shrimp and gooey Mozzarella Cheese dipped in a sauce that tasted like Thousand Island Dressing. So good!!My husband ordered the Huachinango Diabla. Crispy Red Snapper on the outside and moist, flaky on the inside. Diabla sauce complimented the fish very well. Mild and a touch of sweetness. I had the Mendigo Special. Wow!! So much depth of flavor in the savory soup that had generous portions of seafood; octopus, shrimp, and crab (imitation). Topping of cilantro, onions, and avocado all enhanced the already flavorful soup. The dish comes with this buttery, soft, warm bread to soak up the delicious soup. I would definitely recommend and will be coming back soon as everything tasted so delicious!!

Started off w/ some fire ceviche and spicy green salsa that comes with the table, followed by camarones la diabla that has a tasty smoky flavor that will grow on you over time and the breaded shrimp. Oh and live music. 10/10.

D. LICIOUS!!!!!!!The tilapia was amazing, but my boy had the paella which I sampled and THAT was BANGING!!!!!! Overall is pricing but the food is honestly worth it...

Fresh seafood, large portions, good prices - Oceans Seafood will not disappoint. We love seafood so my husband and I headed here upon recommendation of friends. We were greeted with complementary ceviche, which is the best ceviche I've ever had (including ceviche from Riveria Maya region of Mexico). We loved it so much we ordered some more. Beware of the green sauce with it - my husband has a super high tolerance for hot/spice and it was a bit too hit for him. My husband judges Mexican restaurants by their guacamole, so we had an order of that as well and it was a large serving - more than enough for two. Just the right balance of seasonings and super fresh. The drink and food menus were extensive. Order a drink, an app or two and take your time to look through the menu and don't be afraid to ask staff questions or their recommendations. I had a pineapple half stuffed with crab, shrimp, steak and cheese. It was amazing. It was rich and a lot of food so next time I'd recommend sharing it with someone. My husband got shrimp and carne asada - shrimp was great, meat was a tad dry. Seafood is their specialty so my husband said next time we come back he's going to get what I had (he actually finished mine!). We gawked at other dishes as they were delivered to the other tables around us - everything looked amazing and we can't wait to come back and try other items. A table near us ordered a bunch of oysters and told us they on the level of those they've eaten on the east coast. This is a treasure and we cannot wait to make the trip down from Wisconsin again. If you like seafood - this is your place.

Great food great service and the portions were worth the price! Our server was amazing she attentive without being annoying.

I ordered an aguachile mix. It was good but a little over-seasoned and the portion of aguachile shrimps was not as much but rather I got cooked shrimps which in that case I would've ordered a ceviche. The service was good and the music was not as loud as other places. I ordered a Michelada and it was a little light. Overall had a good experience but I will try something else next time. Be aware there is an extra charge if you pay with a card (debit or credit)

This place was amazing. The customer service was absolutely great, and the waitresses were very nice and kind. They kept checking up on us and making sure we didn't any anything. Our drinks were never empty. The food came fast and was very yummy. Definitely a 5 star rating and highly recommended.
