Oakwood Restaurant

Went there last night to celebrate our Anniversary. The food and service was outstanding. Since the new Executive Chef Jennifer took over the food is amazing. The menu has bern updated and the selections are excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone. On a side note the Lobster Bisque is out of this world

We were staying at the Heidel House and decided to have dinner at the Oakwood. The food was good. I ordered up the Schnitzel and it was good. A little overcooked but good. The bread to start with the variety of butters was a nice touch as well. They had a nice beer and wine selection as well as the full bar right next door.

If you've not yet dined at the new Oakwood Restaurant in the renovated Heidel House, you're missing out. The view of beautiful Green Lake and the ambience was lovely. The hubby and I each enjoyed delicious meals prepared by accomplished Chef Derek - Barramundi and Beef Bourguignon (YUM) and a home made Key Lime Pie (Kill me now!). And be sure to get a Old Fashioned as Bartender Doug makes a mean cocktail. Need I say more?

We went for brunch. Everything was delicious. Service was great. Wonderful view and a good price.
