Oakland Gyros is one of my favorite late night food spots. The gyros always taste amazing (I get the classic gyro with no tomato) and the raspberry lemonade is to die for. The service is good, you order at the counter and they call your food when it's ready. It's got a classic late night food feel with the scattered booths and florescent lighting but still one of my favorite places. Overall, 10/10 from this college student.

While we've ordered from Oakland Gyros before, this time we decided to place an order through Doordash. The predicted ETA was 25-40 minutes, but it came even faster than that. My husband and I both got the Gyro Sandwich, but I also requested sides of feta, olives and pepperonchini. As always, the meat portions were generous, but I was surprised that the sides were too. Everything was packaged well and delivered hot and fresh. We'll definitely be adding Oakland Gyros to our Doordash rotation!

Easily the best late night bite on the East Side. I've only ever gotten a Gyro but they're always packed full of meat and fresh. Service is old school and always pleasant. Ambiance is Greek diner from the 60's and it's always busy from open to close. Never so much that you have to wait long for your order, they're incredibly efficient and kind. Must try before you leave the east side.

Awesome meal at Oakland gyros! Greek food is one of my favorites and after a long week of partying for senior week... it was a must! We got the chicken shish-kabob platter and the gyro platter and both were awesome! The gyro meat and the chicken were juicy and seasoned perfectly and the Greek fries were phenomenal! Whatever seasoning they put on the feta- I need it! The portions were crazy but good if u like left overs. Always a classic and a good time whenever I come here :)

Awesome series of events getting there..late night convenient and staff always approachable in regards to staff there.With percussion articulation you will always be satisfied with the service at Oakland Gyros.The food will be to your liking and you taken or shooken by an extra thought of it isn't you going to be proud of the results to culinary artisan expertise just as good as the first round ..thank you in supporting Milwaukee best business.Asa Milwaukee best I give it all in bewitnessing recognition 5stars up..($.$.H*)

Best place for late night food in Milwaukee.They got gyros, cheese fries, an excellent spanikopita, & killer greek salad, along with yummy shakes & other stuff you find at a lot of greek restaurants in the area.The location is a cornerstone of East Side/UWM nightlife, & you will meet a lot of interesting folks waiting in line.The atmosphere is oldschool diner in the best possible way, & the staff is amazing. As far as late night spots go, it's one of the best, & unlike most places they never cut their hours due to covid.A milwaukee staple that everybody should give a try!!

We had our order delivered. We had a gyro platter that comes with 1 tahziki, then ordered 6 extra tahziki, 2 extra pita bread and a chocolate malt. We only got the half beef half lamb gyro platter with 0 sauce. Our dinner was ruined. If you order ONLY pick up and look through the order. Golden gyros is the way to go, we will be making the drive from here on out.

Came there with my son after a Buck's game with the temperature being about 4 degrees outside. I have eaten at quite a few Chicago Greek restaurants and all just so well run. This was my first time there and this place did not disappoint me. The owner right there taking order as you came in and chatting with the clientele. The food? So good. The pita bread was made right there (not out of a plastic bag) and really made it unlike any other gyro I've had. Never have I had fresher pita bread and that was different The gyro meat was fantastic with onions and taziki sauce. This will be on my place to hit when I go back to Milwaukee.

Best gyros around, by far. The Athenian chicken and burgers are great too! The prices can't be beat (the gyro platter easily feeds 3 if you get extra pitas) and the service is great.
