Oak Street Cafe

The food was made the way I asked, they were busy it's New Year's Eve brunch. Can't expect the server to come back and ask you if you need anything else. Normally a server would come back and ask how was the food or do you need anything. Our server didn't even bring us our dishes and I never saw him after taking our order. The restaurant looked clean. I would come back because they were fast and food was made the way I asked.

Oak Street Cafe is the exemplar northeastern Wisconsin breakfast place. It's in a bit of an odd location but once you find it, you'll be well rewarded. The menu is straightforward with typical American breakfast food, and portions are big. If you like pancakes, one is enough- they are that big! During the week you can also get lunch if you get there around noon. Service is typically pretty quick, although they can get busy on Sundays. The prices are still decent, and you can get a nice sit down breakfast for less than a trip to McDonald's. My only issue is that they don't serve Coke products.

Hidden in a back street strip mall, the only thing I didn't like about this place was trying to find it! From reading some of the other reviews on Yelp I noticed that the Oak Street Cafe has been around for a while... I found this hard to believe because the place was so clean it actually looked like they opened recently. Very impressive! Service and food were excellent and it came out pretty quick. All around great experience.

Today I had a Denver omelette and my wife had eggs and hashbrowns. Everything was delicious as always. We love this place. It will keep coming back.

We like to check out local restaurants when we vacation. This was the best meal we have had so far this week! Very friendly. Clean and cute. And fabulous meals.

Very interesting place to eat at. I felt like I was sent back in time to a little family restaurant in a small home town. Needless to say, the place's atmosphere was not bad if you like being around people at minimum twice your age. The food though was honestly great for the price which surprised me given the clientele. If you like the small town feel and great service, make sure you have your full party cause they won't seat you without them.

I have a good feeling about this place. Ordered pickup during Covid times, they were still open for indoor seating and staff was wearing masks. Good vibe all around. Server that took my order, rang me up, and handed me my food was delightful. Has a nice old school diner vibe and small counter where there was a regular chatting it up with said server. Prices were fair.The bacon and cheese omelette I ordered was great. Came with a decorative and ripe orange slice, homemade jam, sourdough, and hash browns. This breakfast is a litmus test for me in finding a proper breakfast spot, and they certainly delivered. See you next time!

This place wasn't my favorite breakfast place. The food was average to me and hash browns were not crisp. The plates they use were super hot and don't think they should used as hot plates. I think It's nice and big in the inside. Staff was nice. The pancakes are big. The portions are big. I did like they had flavored coffee. Today was Highlander grogg. Coffee and pancakes were good. Prices are spot on.

Breakfast and lunch are good at Oakstreet. One of my top picks.What else is there to know? Food great, service is friendly and ambiance is like family like.

It is very close to home. It is very handicapped accessible. Their food is wonderful, from the hubcap sized pancakes to the best chicken dumpling soup in Brown County. They always have service with a smile. Just a warm atmosphere. Their coffee is pretty awesome too.
