I took my daughter here for lunch before she returned to Madison.Lunch was wonderful because of the food. We always leave with a doggie bag. Our server Amy was fantastic.I had a patty melt and my daughter had the chicken tenders with garlic butter drizzled on them.THEY WERE THE BOMB!!

I now have 254 (and counting) checkins at NAG, for good reason. You might ask "what are those reasons? What makes you come here at least once a week?"* The people - it starts at the top with ana owner Mike, because he hires only kind people, most of whom have been here for years. We're here enough that the delightful servers pretty much know what we're getting. They're all completely great & the #1 reason we come here because they treat us like family. * The food - I get the same thing every time (pretty much) and the consistency and deliciousness is ON POINT. The mister changes it up - sometimes a creative special, sometimes breakfast, sometimes a decadent Peppercorn Horsey burger. No matter what we get, it's delicious, well executed and served up fast!* The Space - this is one of the few places I feel good about dining in during These Unprecedented Times (god I hate that phrase almost as much as I hate 2020). Slide into the big oversized booths with high partitions and the Covid can't get you. I see the care that's taken with cleaning too so I trust that I'm as safe as I can be here. Bottom line - 2020 has been awful and NAG is my safe & happy place. Big thanks to all the workers here who consistently make me tasty food and are so nice!

North Ave Grill is one of my go-to spots in Wauwatosa. I've been there several times and have enjoyed everything on the menu! Pictured is the Ahi Tuna B.L.T Sandwich. The Wasabi mayo is a great addition to the sandwich. Their sides include fries, fruit, or coleslaw. The fries have great seasoning. Also highly recommend their Friday fish fry! This is a great brunch place in Tosa! I enjoyed my egg white & cheese breakfast sammie enough, but the nitro cold brew was the best part of my meal by far. It's creamy and smooth, and you can choose what flavor you want (I went with caramel, but they had lavender and vanilla as well). It's a small diner, but we were seated right away despite it being peak brunch time.

Solid modern diner style joint whipping up classic diner fare that includes lunch and fish fry options.It's a large menu with all the typical brunch options available - pancakes, waffles, skillets, French toast, etc. You can also get a wide range of lunch options, including cheese, curds, quesadillas, chicken sandwiches, burgers, salads and wraps.I hear the burgers are good but we always get the Buffalo chicken wrap - it's big and delicious. On this visit we also ordered pancakes (wonderful) as well as the Meat Lovers breakfast skillet (solid but not amazing). All in all a decent go to spot when you're not sure what to eat but want some good if not spectacular food. It's a popular spot on the weekends so be prepared to wait 30-60 mins for a table or booth. They do have limited bar seating too.

First and foremost, I have been to this restaurant/diner before and for the most part I have been satisfied. Today wasn't one of those days, the good news first, my wife's Cobb Salad with chicken was huge, actually it was too big for the plate. She needed a platter to eat that salad, other than that the salad was pretty good. She really liked the fact that the chicken was not salty. Now to the bad, I ordered the Country Fried Steak with biscuits, American fries and 2 over easy eggs. I added fried onions to the American fries to jazz them up a bit. The Country Fried Steak was terrible, it tasted like liver. I finished it because I needed my gut filled, I was hungry. I would highly recommend replacing that meal with something else, maybe a breaded chicken breast. The rest is the meal was pretty good especially the eggs.

Love this place every time we can come in! For the prices, you can't beat it for lunch! I highly recommend the Asian chicken either wrap or as a salad- I have recommended this to everyone who dined with me recently and they ordered it and loved it. I also love south of border if you want something for breakfast!
