Meal was accurate, felt long for prep, they have hibachi area asThis was a decent sushi spot on the east side. Plenty of parking and had no wait to be seated. They have a full bar and a hibachi area that looked appealing. Noise inside the restaurant was slightly above average but I could still hear my table's conversation. I tried the special- old fashion roll, which was similar to a rainbow roll. It wasn't wrapped tightly so it was harder to consume that anticipated but tasted great.

My friends and I went for a casual brunch on New Year's. Surprisingly, we were able to find a spot for our group of 12. Since they didn't have a big table, we split into two tables of six. We ordered Schezwan Kung Pao Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Veg Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Miso Soup, Rolls, Pork Gyoza, Edamame, Spicy Lady Roll, and Singapore Noodles. I liked all the dishes, and the portion sizes were good. The only disappointment was the Singapore Noodles, which had too much turmeric. I also tried the Brown Sugar Boba, which was really good. The service was overall good, though our server was slightly delayed due to the size of our group. I definitely recommend this place!

We swung by Niji for a casual lunch as a big group. We did not have a prior reservation but they were relatively empty, so they could accommodate us easily. We were very happy to see that they were open on the 1st of Jan. They did not have a big table for us but were able to split us into two big groups. The service was decent inspite of us being such a large group. We ordered a bunch of things ranging from boba tea, miso soup, spring rolls, pork ramen, lo mein noodles, bok choy, etc.Overall, I wasn't very impressed with the food as I have had better but some of my friends really liked their sushi and ramen. I believe the non vegetarian food was better than the vegetarian food. The ambience was nice and clean. They even had some hibachi tables. The price was reasonable as well. Not sure if I will be back, but we were generally happy to have our tummies full on New Year's Day.

Twelve of us visited the restaurant for lunch on New Year's Day. Since the lunch specials weren't available due to the holiday, we ordered a variety of individual dishes and paired them with Sapporo and Asahi. For the table, we ordered edamame, gyoza, and vegetable spring rolls - all of which were excellent. The highlights at our table were the Tonkatsu Ramen, which was outstanding, and the Mongolian beef, which came in a close second. The noodles were decent but nothing extraordinary. On the other hand, the Chicken Katsu Curry and Kung Pao Chicken were average and could probably be skipped next time.Overall, I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the service was helpful and attentive.

Takumi relocated. The space is huge compared to the old! The menu has also expanded. They were pretty busy on Wednesday for a typical dinner time. Service was as expected. We were seated right away at the bar.The sushi rolls don't fall apart and equally cut. I've always been a fan of takumi so I'm not surprised that Niji stands strong. Would come back again. Service was a bit slower but I think the size has tripled or quadrupled.

From the outside it looks newly established and still not quite done completely. However, once you step inside the main door, you feel entering a different zone - it's quite nice inside. Feels upscale with a complete bar area setup as well. We ordered variety of sushi. They tasted good. Service was a bit slow. We maybe came at the end so had to just sit around for quite a while before someone came to take the order, otherwise after that it seemed pretty quick.

One of my favorite sushi spots on the east side of town. They moved into a bigger location right by east towne mall with a full bar. Staff is friendly. We celebrated my husband's birthday there recently and they did a little performance singing happy birthday. The kids loved it. They also have a hibachi grill seating with interactive chef.
