Murf's Frozen Custard & Jumbo Burgers

Another custard place in the books! Had to try out the Cookie Monster flavor of the day. Probably one of the most ingridient loaded custard flavors I've ever had. I have not had a chance to try their food yet, other than the pickle fries that were perfectly crispy with their spicy boom sauce. Staff were very nice and even let us order a pint to go even after we realized they were a couple minutes past closing.

Best milkshake in MKE! I usually do chocolate (using chocolate custard rather than syrup) or one of the cereal shakes m, which are all delish. If I'm stopping for more than just custard, my go-tos are the patty melt and fries. Their pickle fries (!!) and onion rings are also great. Fast counter service and nice seating outside for when it's nice out. Everything you need and nothing you don't.

Wisconsin is known for its butterburgers (think Culver's) and Murf's was not far from a location I had to be at in Brookfield. It looked to me like a Mom & Pop place and I had to try it! I give 5 stars to the delicious burgers. I ordered the Murf burger and it was tastier then other fast food burgers I've been to. I love the thousand island sauce and I'd definitely return for this burger alone! I also ordered the onion rings and they were pretty good. They give you a good sized portion. I also tried the shake but the standout was still the burger.I recommend calling ahead because there was about a 20ish minute wait. Food came out really hot.They take cash tips (not credit) and there is plenty of parking in the lot.

Murf's is a great place to grab a classic butter burger and some tasty custard! Great service and great food. On our most recent, visit we enjoyed their sundae collaborations with BB Cakes - so good! We took them to go, but they have plenty of seating available for dining in. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are generous.

I would have to say it's one of the best burgers I have ever had. Was in town for some meetings and was looking for a quick burger. It's a must try and I will definitely be going back. It is a very clean restaurant and the staff is supper friendly.

A friends always goes in to get the order, inside does not have much seating area but there is a large parking lot, most people take to go I'm assuming. JUMBO burgers! I've had Murfs twice now and each time the burgers did not disappoint! Meat was cooked nicely and was juicy! Only complaint was that the bottom buns got soggy towards the end but that's with most burgers that can't even compare in size so I'll give a pass lol. The cheese curds are breaded very nicely! I personally was not a fan of the cheese used it was a bit rubbery but the taste is still good. The custard was gooooood didn't melt quickly either. I am ashamed to say I only ordered custard once but trust I will be back to try a shake! Prices are reasonable too for the portions and quality.

Nice little restaurant. Great burgers and cheese curds. Service was quick and the food was hot and delicious.

Ambiance: Clean, modern.Service: Slow. Ordered online at 5:15 on way back from Burleigh Rd. vet. Waited in parking lot with pet because it was -18 w/WC. Only a few others inside. Went in at 5:30. Manager said oh you're early, time says it won't be ready until 5:38, we're just starting it now. Had to return/start car again. The wait time is unreasonable. Only ordered 1 burger/fries & a grilled cheese and it took until minutes after 5:38 before finally ready. They advertise/encourage online ordering except the few counter customers that came after me received their orders within 10 min. The ordering system also does not give a time frame until AFTER submitting order. Since this was my 1st time here, I had no way to know they operate this way.Food: Burger patty was cooked way too long. Very dry. No flavor. Stale bun. Even with sauce, tomatoes, and bacon, it was terrible I threw it away after 1 bite. Shouldn't have served it this way. Fries were fresh/flavorful, at least I didn't have to throw them out. Grilled cheese was overcooked but my sibling was able to enjoy just the middle. Don't recommend.

Everybody is always raving about their burgers but their chicken sandwiches are great too! Very tasty and juicy. I can't eat beef so it's a wonderful alternative.
