Mundelein Polish Deli

This is a small polish store, it carries the basics, from sweets, lunch meat, sausage and a small variety of can goods. There is a limited section of dairy products and personal care. You can also find fresh bread, buns and other bake goods. There is no produce. Staff is super friendly and store is clean. Prices are a little high compared to other Polish deli stores. My husband only stops here when he needs one or two basic things.

Small place but clean and staff is helpful. I've been twice in the past two weeks. Family has been asking for perogies and kielbasa. Got regular kielbasa plus kraut and made a very nice meal last night. My son was very pleased. Will be back.

Having recently moved to Mundelein I was excited to see a Polish Deli in my new neighborhood! I finally stopped in at Easter - always a special time for Polish foods. So little here! No prepared foods, no freezer case with wonderful homemade soups no nice bakery section. Just a meat slicing deli and dry goods. But what really made me sad was the unfriendly people here. No smiles, welcome or any pleasantries. A foot away from the bread racks an employee actually cut me off to get ahead of me! No "excuse me" or sorry. I left with sausage. Barely heard a thank you mumbled. And there was only 3 people in store! So it's back to Ania's in Lake Zurich where they have everything you could want!! And much friendlier staff. It's worth the ride to me for sure. You lost a good customer Mundelein Deli!

I was expecting something close to or very much like the Polish deli in Mt. Prospect but unfortunately this is not. Bottled, canned, and dairy polish items are the main categories; there is a deli in the back but only offered what I saw sliced meats. No specialty foods like salads, soups, or even stuffed cabbage. It's a grocery store not a deli.

Nice service, fresh food, very convenient to shop. Any time you can call and ask for product also. Well managed with welcomed atmosphere!
