Small local bar. Stopped in for drink and appetizers. Good for bar food. Would've give. It 5 stars but we really had to do all the work to go order the food, go ask for the bill, wasn't greeted when we walked in or even a smile. But it's a bar so serves it purpose I guess.

Great neighborhood bar to watch sports, have a Bloody Mary and share appetizers.We stopped after a busy morning to watch college games. The bartender could not have been any nicer.I asked for an extra spicy Bloody Mary and she was on the mark, nice and spicy, but not burn your throat. We ordered 3 appetizers to share, mini tacos... yummy, yummy, wonton cheese sticks and poppers, both were very good.Great place to go on a Saturday afternoon.

Food is good. After that, out in the country type bars should have three things. Affordable drinks, cheap nosh specials, and bartenders who can give ribbing as well as they can take them. The cheap nosh has taken a hit the last couple years at Mug-Z's, but they've kept up in the other categories, so it's an enjoyable place to stop.Just two years ago the specials were special. For instance 25 cent drummies and shrimp had a couple of weekly appearances. Last year things started rising, and now the food specials aren't that special, it's on couple occasions you can get different food.The cheap nosh is made up though for many by the drink special of free bloodies for an hour weekend mornings. Yes weekends, including pre-Packer games and races! Other drink specials keep the regulars happy for much of the week. The generally hustling servers with sass also excel at keeping the regulars happy.More on the food: those currently 50 cent drummies are as good as normal bars get. Important to me is they'ren't wings. On occasion they serve mutant drummies of enormous size, feels like a great nosh deal again if you are so lucky. The $5 nachos on Wednesdays are a big plateful good deal if you're into dairy loaded nachos. I get three tacos instead as a spicy filler-upper.I like how they cook they're burgers too. With cheap drinks I'm not looking for bloody beef, instead they fully grill on some nice flavor. I get the Mug-Z's Double Dip (two 1/3rd pound patties, why so named nobody seems to know) and swap out the cheese for bacon. With mushrooms plus hot and BBQ sauce it's a mini tower of taste.

We had lunch here. Very good Italian Parmesan chicken and chicken mushroom ranch sandwiches. The salted French fries reminded me of the original French fries at McDonald's before they went healthy.

his neighborhood place is an absolute throwback to another era in all the right ways. Bar was packed and a couple of tables occupied when I and five others showed up for the Wednesday wing special. Have to order at the bar, but the food does get served to your table.

Good food. Unable to take picture because it is dark in here. 2nd time we visited the area and stopped. The only problem is the bar stools at the tables are very uncomfortable. You do have to go order at the bar but they deliver the food to the table.

All of the food items are very good and the service is also very good. The only item that prevented me of giving five stars to this establishment is the chairs, the chairs leave a lot to be desired. They have a short depth of the sear which makes it difficult to get comfortable. Feels like you are going to slip off the front. Plus they have a molded, rounded back, which no one I know or have ever seen, has a back shaped like the chair backs. I would suggest that you visit and try this place, as I said the food and service is good., Next time we go there, we will either bring our own stools or just stand.

Terrible experience this evening, bar and dining room was very busy. Ordered a drink and an appetizer when I arrived. Went to the bar to grab a second drink. Put cash and my empty drink on the bar and waited, being patient, again as it was very busy. The bartender took drink and food orders from 3 different patrons within arms reach of me without even acknowledging me. The other patrons and I got a good chuckle before I walked out. I left $6.50 on my first order of $8.50. Not sure the reason behind the poor service but will not be back and patronize establishments in the area that are more appreciative of the business.
