I walked in and the owner said, "Would you like some sourdough blueberry pancakes?"Gee, I dunno - YES!Great coffee, and wonderful conversation as she served up hot pancakes with organic butter, maple syrup, and cream for the Colectivo Coffee. Definitely an old school feel. Nice people. Some grocery options.Masks required and staff use them.

This is an excellent healthy diamond in the rough. We come up to Montello every year for a full week and next to the gas station to get ice, this is the most frequent place we stop. The service can be slow, but if you understand the employee to customer ratio, you'll tolerate the short wait. They have a cute diner atmosphere. Few tables in the store and more outside in the back of the store, where there is a cute patio which overlooks the river. While I haven't tried it, it looks like they have wifi for free to the customers. The food is all homemade! Nothing processed here! Organic beer, soda, veggies and dry goods. This place has it all!

Super Cute place in town. Everything is made from scratch and made to order. That being said it does take a little longer to get your food, but it is worth the wait. The owner is super nice and you can tell she takes pride in her cooking. We had the frittata and French toast with a side of potatoes.

Kiddo said five stars and asked to go back the next morning. Devoured her Spanish omelette (frittata) which I enjoyed stealing scraps of. Coffee beans roasted in Bay View and delicious chai made from loose leaf.If it's nice weather check out the patio along the river. Totally laid back spot for great natural food in the midst of up north ... which feels like a Madison hangout.

We are so happy to have found this cafe! The coffee here is amazing, it's just some of the best coffee I have had anywhere. We got cappuccinos and iced coffee, all were great. The food is delicious -the beet salad was amazing we had it twice. The vegan Joe was delicious as was the buckwheat hash! Food tastes great and you can tell it's homemade quality dishes. This is a great place to eat and have coffee. We will come back as soon as we can. Would recommend to anyone within an hour radius to try!

Excellent food and service! Our kids are vegan and we are not. It's a great place for all of us to eat. The food is so fresh and delicious! They have specials that aren't on the menu that you should definitely try. Everything is great!

Love this place! A gem. Great home-cooked meals and super cute inside with a organic food, and clothes section. Whenever I camp in Montello, I make it a point to stop by, at least a few times, and grab a wonderful meal. The healthiest and tastiest option in this little town. Never disappointed!

I've been here twice and I've been satisfied both times. Service was good and the food was just as good. Also loved the in house Kombucha! Great job! Can't go wrong with the breakfast food here and my chai latte was perfect. 10/10 thank you.

It's really hard to make tempeh taste good but these guys get it right. Very tasty tempeh Reuben, nice tempeh sloppy joes and a yummy Mexican platter. They also have a great beer selection and a health food store stocked with everything from maple syrup to chips galore so tasty you can't just try one kind. Very friendly staff. We weren't there with live music, but there was a stage in back, and some posters in the bathroom announcing poetry slams too. Would like to have this kind of place in my neighborhood.
