Moraza’s La Michoacana

Some friends and I stopped at La Michoacana Ice Cream for dessert on our way to Wisconsin. This ice cream parlor had a large selection and everything was in stock. My husband and I ordered the banana split to share. It came with three scoops of ice cream. We got the chocolate oreo, mint chocolate chip, and pistachio ice creams. It hit the spot. I highly recommend La Michoacana Ice Cream!

Amongst La Michoacana locations, this is one of the better ones I've been to. This is in terms of portion size, selection, cleanliness, and decor. The scoops here are very generous with a dazzling array of flavors which are all delicious. The decor is very attractive with a good setup for sitting around and enjoying your frozen treat. The service is quick and friendly, with help to guide through the huge selection of options. Parking is also relatively easy in this shopping center.

We stopped in for ice cream last weekend. HUGE selection of flavors. Tasted delicious. There was a sign for homemade tamales, so on a whim we took a dozen home. So glad we did, they were fantastic. We will definitely go back. Well worth the drive.

My daughter and children and myself came for ice cream on Saturday around noon. The young woman was friendly and very patient with us as we all made our decisions. And the ice cream was delicious! We all enjoyed the flavors we tried.Nice this shop. I wish I lived in Wauconda so I could go often, but daughter's family will definitely return.

This Michoacana is okay, I would still drive to Round Lake or Mundelein tho. The service is not the greatest, some speak too low. They've gotten my orders wrong a few times. Some girls are rude and have bad service/manners. I was truly happy having a Michoacana near me, but this is not it. Round lakes and Mundelein are still my top picks.
