Moody's Subs + Sweets

We stumbled upon this deli during a visit to Carthage. Wow! First of all it is like coming home when you enter the space. How welcoming. We were shown such hospitality...them you get to the menu. If you make it past that, oh the sweets! Listen, I don't care what your pallet is, you will find something satisfying here and you will be treated as a most important guest. We're in our way back the next chance we get.

first time stepping i. there the owner was so nice he gave us a soup sampler clarified what was halal what was zabihah halal and what was not he also was very courteous and answered all my questions . I will definitely go back there again

Excellent food and excellent service! The couple that runs it is so very helpful and kind. There was 6 of us and we all had something different and everyone loved their dish (sandwiches, soup, salads). ! The desserts which are homemade are fabulous! Yum! It is clean and welcoming place! I will make this a regular stop! Thanks for a bright spot for the northside of Kenosha.

I come here often because the place is really that good. You get pure quality and quantity the food is more than worth it and the vibes are always up . This is Kenoshas best!

Delicious soup and subs and so much more. I will need to come back several more times to try all the good food I have seen in the 30min sitting here. Also had a wonderful blueberry cake.

Ordered the Beef Sharma Pita & Tabbouleh salad. It was outstanding, so fresh & yummy. Very friendly staff & a great family owned business! Got to talk with the mom of the place. A beautiful woman that loves to share her culture. I look forward to going back and trying more of the menu! Welcome to the Northside!

Went for grand opening on Friday & super happy this place opened up, it's just down the street from us! We liked it so much that we went back again tonight for dinner, we both got the California sub ($10.50) I got mine without avocado but they didn't put avocados on both the subs which made my bf upset but he still loved the sub. We did a small combo add on ($5) & it comes with fries or chips plus soup plus a drink, pretty good deal if you ask me! One small combo was definitely enough for the both of us. They are a brand new business so they got some work to do, such as building their subs & wrapping it. They do it a little messy, cheese falling off & sauce everywhere. They also haven't put everything they have on the menu so keep a look out in store for things not on the menu! They seem to have a meal of the day like on grand opening it was chicken & rice w salad, today they were all out. So I can't wait to try that sometime!Inside is super clean & staff is friendly, they have a wide selection of chips. Their chicken noodle soup was delicious & their fries are outstanding!! Definitely will be regulars here, thanks Moodys!

Service was great, portions were big, prices were just right. So glad we have more family owned businesses in town and not just chains. You could not get anything on the menu at a subway or other sandwich shop. $11.50 for a freshly made cheesesteak in my opinion is a great price..we did get a chance to sample the soups (chicken pot pie & vegetable) both were excellent and I'll be getting some next time! The atmosphere is nice and simple. We will definitely be going back!

Great paninis and hot subs. Favorites are the chicken parm, garlic chicken shawarma, and cheesesteak. But, honestly, I have been to this restaurant many times and have never had a meal I did not like. It's all around a great soup-and sandwich shop. They also have great smoothies and amazing desserts. For vegetarians, the hummus and baba ghannouj with pita are amazing. Service is very friendly and casual. The owner is talkative and friendly. Ambiance is casual counter service.

I am a sandwich snob and can immediately tell when one isn't made with love. Ohhhboy not at Moodys!! 50000% the best sandwich I've had - my personal fav is the California. There is also a solid chip selection, every kind of soda a soda lover could imagine and all the cheesecakes look delish too! So while the food is amazing- let's talk about the equally amazing customer service. Super clean shop, very very friendly and helpful owners who insist on sampling parts their menu to experience more the offerings. Well. They are not wrong, sample the soup. Every one I tired was delicious- lentil, chili, French onion, chipotle beef... good luck picking just one! I even got a sample of a smoothie they were making and had a little left over... The melon, mango and pineapple smoothie, shame on you if you don't try it! Then to top it all off... my favorite part!! They don't let food go to waste and donate it to a local organization!! This goes to show that the owners not only go to great lengths to provide quality food and service to their customers but the community as well. So. Well done, Moody's! I'm forever a fan.
