The food is decent, the decor just keeps getting better and better, but it's only good if the young guy's there. Try calling and get no response during regular business hours? Don't worry. They're probably open. It's just the older lady in the back who doesn't speak English well, which is especially frustrating if you speak Spanish. The wait isn't terribly long, but either is the attention to preparation for customers who want different toppings beyond the typical corn tortilla, protein, cilantro and onion. Speaking of spice, I'm not crazy about their salsa. This may sound like I hate this place, but I don't. I just know they can bump up their game.

Awesome little place started by a 19 year old entrepreneur! I know when I was 19 I wasn't trying open a restaurant so I sure hope everyone supports this place!! The food was delicious... I ordered the potato tacos (vegetarian) which were awesome! We also had orders of the steak and chicken and everybody was more than happy with their food. The prices are super reasonable, everything is homemade, and it's just a cute little place that we noticed driving by. They also had a bunch of fresh mangos that were delicious. I guess his parents help when they can but when I was there, it was just him and he did great!!! We will definitely be back.

Awesome taco spot in Racine. Got the carne asada tacos and was super excited. They even were willing to make some homemade tortillas chips even though it wasn't on the menu...will be back again and again and again

Driving my way through Racine (can't believe I just wrote that) and was terribly hungry and didn't see anything appetizing as all I saw were gas stations. I ended up passing this small yellow building that had a sign that said $1 Tacos.....SAY WHAT?!?!? I pulled a quick one-eighty as this obviously caught my attention. This place is tiny! From the looks of it and the seven chairs that are cramped inside, people go here for carry out. They only serve tacos, burritos and tortas and you can get them with steak, ground beef, pork, beef tongue, chorizo, and chicken. They offer a meal deal that comes with rice and beans. A very simple menu. The employee didn't look thrilled to be there and was wearing a sweatshirt and coat, and took your order behind their tall counter with an Irish Nutcracker (WTF? See my pic). I ordered three beef tacos. They were small but pretty delicious. Not out of this world good, but it hit the spot for my current situation. The tacos came with a red and green salsa. The red salsa was too hot for me, the green salsa was more tame taste to it. This must be a popular spot for the locals as my buddy and I ate our food there and several people came in to order food and was out the door. Would stop here in a heartbeat if I caught myself in Racine.
