On a cold, but sunny "Superbowl Sunday" we enjoyed a delicious lunch. It was really nice to go somewhere where we could eat without feeling rushed and have a conversation without needing to overcome the din of TV or loud music. We ordered at the counter and we're seated very briefly before our food arrived. We'll definitely be back!

Cute place. Friendly staff. The breakfast was not great. After the meal, my daughter said "I'm disappointed. I wish we went somewhere else."My 8 year old is obsessed with crepes and gets them whenever she can. She did not enjoy the crepe filling, and the sauce was overly sweet. The chilaquiles was okay.

Monona Bakery is more than a bakery. Aside from various baked goods they also have a pretty robust savory menu which leans towards Honduran and Mexican fair. Everything in samples was good. The flan was rich and well crafted. I was excited to see Morning Buns in the bakery case. My bun was good but a little on the dry side. I really enjoyed the Beleada: Homemade flour tortilla filled with refried beans, scrambled eggs, avocado, cheese, and Honduran cream. For $4.50 this was a great brunch option when paired with a pasty. The staff are friendly and the prices great. The dining room is somewhat lackluster and drafty (was 20 degrees outside). But, you know what, this place is a neighborhood gem and is worth frequenting.

Delicious Honduran dinner! I ordered the Spinach walnut salad with grilled chicken. My husband ordered the Quinoa Power Salad with grilled chicken. We shared a bean and cheese Pupisa and veggie taco. For dessert my husband bought a chocolate brownie. The large dinner salads were made with fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the pears and strawberries in my salad. Nice balsamic vinaigrette. Pleasant, helpful staff. We will definitely return! Yummy!

I dined in for lunch on a Saturday. The place was packed. One orders food and see if a seat gets available during that time. My food took 45 minute to be ready. Fortunately I got a seat by then. Horchata was excellent. Banana soda was just ok. Baleada was my favorite breakfast item. Traditional Honduran breakfast was really good as well. Papusa was ok. I also went for a couple of pastries - guava and cheese danish and cherry danish. Both were really good.

Food was delish, we had the breakfast tacos. Also the white sangria. But if you are using corn tortillas, you MUST double then up!!! It's my one suggestion. Also sadly, the atmosphere is mediocre, Way too bright. I hope they get a better location in the future!

This place is always delicious. I feel like the large iced chai tea I had should have been in a bigger cup than what I ordered but that's just me. The tea was delicious though. This was my second time here and the food is delicious.

Absolutely amazing. The creme anglaise on the crepes is one of the greatest things i've had the privilege of tasting. Can't wait to visit again.

Excellent baked goods. Love the danishes. And they have all the flavors. Papaya, guacamole, pineapple, apple, cream cheese, etc....Dough is so moist and flaky and just tastes so good. Hubby goes there at least once a week to grab our beloved danishes.

Place lives up to the hype. Great selection of tasty baked goods, breakfasts, lunch items and dinners. Friendly service. Tables to eat inside, or you can easily take your food away. Prices do vary, but the value is always there.
