Service is top notch and the food was amazing and comes out super fast.Ambiance is very lay back and very pleasant.Great place to stop by and get a great meal Dumplings are awesome

I was interested to try this place after seeing some decent reviews and the photos of the food/atmosphere looked nice. I was visiting Milwaukee and had a great visit up until here. Right when I walked, the hostess was chatting with the other servers and did not notice me at first; I was then offered a seat at the bar. Once seated, a younger male server appeared with what looked like to be food on his face from the meal he was eating behind the bar and was unprofessional in his attitude/demeanor, not rude by any means but unprofessional. Unimpressed, I made my order quickly and partook in the Sichuan Spicy Dumplings. The food was good and I was constantly checked on by other staff members. What did annoy me was my server, the hostess, and another server were seated next to me at the bar chatting about what they wanted to eat, when they were going to leave, and what their weekend plans were. These conversations should have been held at a later date or at least not infant of the customer. All the while I noticed there was dirt on the floor as if someone started to sweep but then dropped off. Plenty of employees standing around, eating, and talking the restaurant could have been better kept with all the staff hanging around. After using the restroom, I proceeded to leave only to find my serve now sitting in my spot at the bar eating and saying "have a good day man" with food in his mouth and all over his face. Definitely can use some work in the service side of things, the food is the only thing holding up this review. Please, I encourage the owners to implement some sort of training program or have accountability for the staff.

I was very excited to try MoMo Mee after hearing from a few people who went there. We made a reservation online and I'd highly recommend since it's a busy restaurant and we avoided a long wait. There is a large bar area and lots of tables when you enter. The restaurant is very lively at night. I started with the Lychee martini which was good and not too sweet. Then we ordered the Szechuan Spicy Wontons and Momo Mee Famous Xiao Long Bao. We liked the wontons but did not like the soup dumplings. They were very doughy without much soup inside. The flavors were just ok. Despite our apps being just ok, we liked the entrees a lot! The ramen was flavorful and the Korean spicy noodles were delicious. I added chicken to the Korean noodles and it was great! Overall a little salty and I'm still struggling to find good soup dumplings in Milwaukee. We probably wouldn't get apps again but might come back for noodle entrees.

Been here several times and like it every time! Known for its soup dumplings (xiaolongbao), and a bit of Asian fusion, you don't find a second place like momo mee in town. Originally fromShanghai, myself has a high criteria for the soup dumplings, I would say it was definitely not the authentic version but I think it is good and tasty and good enough for me to enjoy some hometown flavors. The Korean fried noodles and the chow mein, and the braised pork rice bowl was good!! The place is easy to access with parking and the service is good and decent. We came during weekday lunch, and the restaurant was not very busy; kids friendly too!

Since moving to Milwaukee, I've been looking for a good Asian cuisine spot, and I think I found my go-to. I came alone and sat at the two-seat high top in the bar area--the perfect place for someone just wanting to dine alone. I looked at the menu before coming to see if anything sparked my interest, and I would say it was hard to choose one thing. So many dishes stuck out that I wanted to try. After deciding, I started with an appetizer of dim sum. I got my go to Shao Mai. Was delicious. For my entree, I ordered the Cantonese Beef Chow Fun, one of my favorite dishes, which was fabulous! My waiter was very friendly and quick to get things. I will be back to try more dishes!!

Our Saturday night party of 8 went here after a recommendation, and we were blown away at how amazing everything was! Although walk-ins are accepted, I would highly recommend making a reservation. While we were eating, people were bunching up waiting inside and outside. Our party was seated at a long, narrow hightop table right next to the front window. The close proximity to the bar area meant we were seated very close to one another. Once drinks, appetizers and entrees were delivered, the space felt even tighter. Still, we made it work. We began with the Xiao Long Bao Soup Dumplings which, yes, were dumplings with soup inside. I have zero idea how they can pull this off, but they were absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend them! Just make sure you take that first bite over a plate and not your nice clothes ;)Having never tried Szechuan, I ordered the Szechuan Mala as my entree, which came in a clay pot. The beef was tender, the vegetables crispy and the sauce thick and spicy. Savory at it's finest! Sampling off each other's dishes, I can honestly say everyone enjoyed everything. There was not one dish that disappointed, and by the end of our meal we were all more than satisfied. However, we still had to try the Fried Mantou which was the perfect way to round our meal. Hot and crispy on the outside and hot and fluffy on the inside. Think donut holes but much, much better.Good service, great food and an intimate atmosphere make this a must visit spot! You can't go wrong.

A few weeks ago, we came here for a birthday meal, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with the ramen and soup dumplings. The ramen had a fatty piece in it that my husband and best friend is pretty sure caused them both to get food poisoning. The soup dumplings had good meat, but the broth was not appetizing. On the plus side, the chicken wings we ordered were fantastic. We also ordered sake bombs, but the staff had no idea what they were doing--setting them up was a mess, and about 10 minutes into it, I almost just wanted to cancel the drink order. However, I will say that our waiter was very attentive, which was a nice.

Momo Mee is what dumpling dreams are made of! The lunch was AMAZING! We really enjoyed the soup dumplings, the potato appetizer, and we ordered each of the three desserts on the menu to try. Unfortunately, the desserts got eaten so quickly, I did t have time to take photos! Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The 10 month old baby in our party spilled a full glass of water on the floor and the staff came to our rescue with a mop and towels and quickly cleaned it up! I was very appreciative. We made a reservation a couple of weeks in advance for a party of 5 and when we arrived, we were seated right away. 5 stars, can't wait to go back!

My 13 year old was craving Asian food on day 7 of vacation. This place did not have a lot for me, my husband or my three year old. I had Bao. It was ok. Not the best, nor the worst.It's in a strip mall. My daughter had soup dumplings for the first time and loved them!

AMAZING food! Never in my life have I had such delectable eggplant: perfectly crispy and still soft and the flavor was out of this world. I am vegetarian so I did not have the soup dumplings, but the 4 people i have went with have gotten it and enjoyed the experience and taste so much! The service has been great everytime i've gone.
