Mom & Pops is,one of those places that you look forward to coming back. My family and I have been going there for years. It is the last stop before leaving town. It is one of the few places in the area that still have traditional doughnuts. When you get a dozen it means something. The National shops are ok. But they taste like a factory made version. Mom and Pops actually seem like they follow a recipe. Taste is everything. Next time I am in town we will stop by bright and early to get our fix before the drive home.

I haven't been in this area in a few years. Time has passed Newberry street by. What used to be a busy road is all but ignored due to the Tri-County Expressway.Nonetheless a new breed of business has moved in that caters more to the locals.Mom & Pops seems like a nice place. You can get a nice donut here at a price that wont break the bank. Service is quick and friendly. My favorite was the chocolate filled chocolate topped variety. They were good.

If I could give zero stars I would! My mother fell into there shop from the poorly marked 'caution' step, the owner behind the counter says 'oh sorry about that step' as he continues to allow two customers to help my mother up. I call to inform them that I was taking her in and I would like a call back, to this day haven't heard anything. So when people say shop local shop small town shops, why to be treated like you mean nothing more than the dirt on the floor. Absolutely pathetic in my eyes!

LOVE Mom & Pop's Bakery! So much in fact, that it is awful that we live right down the street! Cute little bakery with super friendly staff. Donuts are amazing and the bread is quite good as well. They constantly have "special" pastry items depending on season, holiday, etc.

Great place and great food. You can taste the quality. We drove 10 miles to get there and it was worth the trip.

Just bought donuts from their Edgewood/North Appleton location. The donuts were probably the freshest I've had in the area. I'm also picky when it comes to frosting, and theirs was spot-on; not too buttery, tangy, sugary, or rich. If you've never had a donut with fruity pebbles on it, I strongly recommend theirs. Their bismarcks and persians were also the best I've had.
