MJ's Bar and Grill

Ambiance A. This venue is very well put together. Everything is cohesive and works. Very clean. Laid out very well. Food A. Very well seasoned. Fresh. Amazing. Service AThe only thing I wasn't a huge fan of is the Bloody Mary. Very bland. I will definitely be back!!

This would be a great place to start a restaurant. It use to be ok but after walking out for the second time in two weeks I can only feel the there's a severe management problem. Service is terrible right from the time you walk in the door, when you finally get seated and finally someone comes and takes your order, brings your drink you have 20 minutes invested. After another 20 minutes a waitress asks if you want a refill, 10 minutes later you get the refill. The waitress disappears and still no food so with an hour spent, no food in sight we left. Second time, a sign now says seat yourself, we did, waited 10 minutes before a waitress showed up, took a drink order, water, 10 more minutes go by she comes back and we ask about their fish fry that they only have on Fridays, this is Friday. Waitress says she will have to check and goes to the kitchen. We wait but decide if we have another problem we will just leave. She comes back and says " a fish fry will take one hour "!!! We said we are going to leave, she seemed relieved. We had a $25 gift card so not wanting to ever come back we gave it to a couple who were waiting for their food and celebrating a birthday. We hope that they did finally get their food. WE WILL NOT BE BACK

Have had bad experiences each time we've gone. We went the first month they opened and the waitress had no idea what was going on. Also was charged absurd amount for a side of ranch we didn't order. Then the last time we ordered to go and received a clump of soggy breading and a pile of pickles being passed as fried pickles.

Menu options are awesome, food was great and atmosphere with the steampunk feel is cool. We sat outside on the patio and had an app (avocado mozzarella) it was a bit salty so ask for less salt. The jalapeño honey chicken sandwich was great! Not too spicy.

1000% recommend MJ's. Amazing service. Amazing food. The two girls were so wonderful and helpful!! You do not see this kind of customer service anymore.

Food was good but the service was terrible. Ordered drinks and an appetizer when we sat down. After the drinks arrived, we ordered our meal. About 10 minutes go by and our drinks are empty. Server walks past the table about 6 times and never even a look. So I went to the bar and refilled our drink order. Bartender was friendly and made good drinks. Still after some more time my wife asks the server after flagging her down, about the status of the appetizer to which we were told "I'll go check" and returns with our order stating there was a "mix up" in the kitchen. I believe that translates to "I never put the order in"$85 later we left extremely disappointed and had hope that this would be the one to stick in that location, seems like a continuation of the last two. Would not recommend

I feel bad writing a bad review. The waitress was wonderful. However, the food was not. It was absolutely freezing in the restaurant. Apparently, the owner is from Florida, but you would never know it. The waitress even said it's always cold. It made it very uncomfortable for eating. I had a salad that I could have made better at home. I swear they took lettuce from the grocery store,dumped it in a bowl, and through some cranberries and bland chicken with absolutely no flavor in it. The tacos were the worst tacos we have ever tasted. They also had no taste, and I would have sworn they were from a box and heated up. I will say the nachos were pretty good. I think the restaurant has potential. It's a nice atmosphere but again it was so cold that we could not even enjoy our food. On top Of having a horrible meal our bill was $100.

what a pleasant surprise to run into a new bar & restaurant in Saukville -- an awesome addition to a rather quiet area. we stopped in to find only a couple of tables full in the restaurant on a Saturday night. we were thrilled at the live music outside (that they apparently have Friday & Saturdays). we took a spot at the bar wanting a drink & maybe a bite to eat. the cocktail menu has a number of specialty items (with no prices on them though...which was odd). my fiancé enjoyed his tequila blackberry drink. bartender was friendly & attentive. the menu was big & fill of really great options! we split a chicken sandwich & parm garlic fries & their awesome homemade ranch. food was good, but the prices were much higher than I would expect in the area. worth a try!

Loved this place so much! Super dog friendly and the food was delicious! I love their patio :) We had the mushrooms and they were perfect. Their burgers are amazing too!
