enjoyed this place more the second time coming here! ambiance is super cute and cozy. service was excellent- smoked onion dip: love how crispy the chips were and the dip was very thick and hearty- savoy cabbage: such a unique dish??? love the lemon twist to it. i don't think i've ever ordered cabbage on its own before- creste di gallo: think bbq pasta. probs my least fav but still very interesting to try- cheese pizzetta: pesto was really yummy- skillet cookie with brown sugar ice cream: the best dessert!! but i was really sad that we didn't get to try the earl grey creme brulee

I had the Tingas Tortas at Mint Mark, and it was unlike anything I've ever had before--so many layers of flavor in every bite! The balance of textures and spices made it absolutely wonderful. The fries were also a standout--perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and incredibly satisfying. But what truly made the experience memorable was the atmosphere. The space is stunning, with a beautifully curated design that feels like a mix of 1950s high-end Miami elegance blended with modern touches. Every detail, from the lighting to the decor, adds to the inviting and stylish ambiance. The drinks looked incredible, with vibrant colors and elegant presentations. While I didn't get to try one since I had a long drive after lunch, I could tell they were thoughtfully crafted. Next time, I'll definitely be indulging in a cocktail!Service was friendly and attentive, making the entire experience even better. Mint Mark is the kind of place that makes you want to linger and soak it all in. I'll absolutely be back!

Love the vibes, seasonal menu with amazing ingredients, and amazing chefs! First time at the new E. Wash location- larger space than their old Winnebago location and many more tables. We walked in early on a Saturday night and were told it would be about 30 minutes for a seat at the chef's counter and had a drink at a cocktail table in bar while we waited. I was really disheartened that the bartender was rude and did not acknowledge me went I went back to the bar for another drink. Stood there for five minutes while she served other patrons. Not even an I'll be with you in a moment. The chef's counter was awesome! Jay and Casey were wonderful and it really made the experience to interact with them and ask questions. We were asked about allergies or dietary restrictions and they marked up the menu for me for all vegetarian dishes (was even asked about chicken/beef broths!) Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs even though they are small plates. But the flavor and local ingredients were top notch. The beet and burrata salad was my favorite- the beets were smoked and had the right amount of salt with a dill dressing. You MUST get the biscuit bathed in honey and butter. The onion dip was a fun twist on a classic midwestern staple. Will go back because the food and chefs were amazing and there is a lot more I want to try Hopefully the bar service will up their game.

Could tell it was going to be a great dinner by the time we walked in the door. I'm so glad they are taking reservations now. Parking at the new location was a little tight, it seemed like you can only park in the garage or street. If you park in the garage you have to remember to get your ticket validated at the host stand. Service was very pleasant and food came out super fast. We tried the Olive confit, French fingerlings, tiger salad, biscuit, mafadine, and Amish chicken. The fingerlings had an amazing sauce on them and were so crispy. The tiger salad was our favorite, perfectly spicy and fresh. Overall, I thought the portions were very generous for a tapas style restaurant. For drinks, we tried the vesper and the old town Punch. Both were fairly strong, I liked the old town punch the best because it was a little sweeter. The cocktail menu was very large, though It was so hard to pick what I wanted. The atmosphere in new space is very cute, but I feel it is a little loud, maybe just because where we were sitting. Can't wait to come back and try other dishes on the menu!

Food was exquisite. We also got the Pimento cheese and it was very delish. If I were to go again I'd definitely get the Pizzette and the Burrata. SO GOOD. Pimento cheese was fine. Could have had more crackers to go with it. We ended up having a lot of extra cheese surprisingly. Peppers were good but didn't stand out to me as much. Overall though the standout pieces were so good I'd go again. Our server and service was fantastic. I don't like fennel and wanted to see if we could still get the Mushroom Pizzette. The kitchen obliged and I was so appreciative they did because it was amazing. The ambiance is out of this WORLD. I saw the old location too and this one is just as good. Parking is a little annoying, but would still go back. You won't be disappointed!

Outstanding small plates. We came here for a birthday celebration because we wanted something special and were not disappointed. Dine inside or on the patio depending on weather. The bar opens one hour before the kitchen so you can order drinks and sit on the patio.

Probably the best meal I've had in Madison! We came here as a celebratory dinner so we didn't mind waiting and having a drink, but we did wait about 90 minutes for a table on a Friday. However, the food made up for it. We wanted one of everything, but we settled for about six things to share among four people. I'm already dreaming about the biscuit! A must. The steak was divine too. Can't wait to return.

If you're a food lover in Madison, Mint Mark is a must-visit. Nestled in the heart of the city, this modern yet cozy restaurant offers a fresh take on contemporary American cuisine with global influences. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that's both relaxed and refined--a perfect balance for a casual yet elevated dining experience. The menu at Mint Mark is both inventive and accessible, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients and seasonally inspired dishes. The chefs here clearly take pride in their craft, and it shows in the thoughtful presentation and bold flavors that grace each plate. Whether you're a fan of fresh seafood, expertly cooked meats, or creative vegetarian options, there's something for everyone, with a few surprises along the way.Standout dishes include the roasted chicken, which is tender and packed with flavor, and the charred octopus--a dish that's perfectly grilled, with just the right amount of smokiness and paired with bright, zesty accompaniments. The seasonal vegetable dishes are a highlight as well, showcasing the bounty of Wisconsin's farms, and the desserts--like their house-made sorbet or decadent chocolate torte--are the perfect way to end your meal.Service is attentive without being overbearing, and the staff is clearly passionate about what they do. The wine list is carefully curated, offering a nice selection of wines that pair beautifully with the menu, and there are plenty of craft cocktail options for those who enjoy something a little stronger.

Visited the new East Washington location with family. We were looking forward to eating here. Ordered many new dishes with a couple of favorites - biscuits and cauliflower steaks. Generally, the dishes are still good. We were however disappointed with our favorites. The new biscuit don't taste as good as before. It got taller and so more doughy. The old biscuit was fried on all sides but this isn't. The new cauliflower dish is now florets instead of a steak. It is softer than before. The old dish was charreed with a slight crunch. We would come to mint Mark just for these 2 dishes but with the changes, I don't think we would anymore. The other dishes were new to us and taste good still. Wait staff was very nice and asked for feedback and I share our preference with her. We love the new location. I like how they brought some of the things that I like about mint Mark grin the old location over. Feels familiar and new at the same time. Lots of tables now. No reservation of party less than 8 ppl.

Am I crazy? I thought the coffee was terrible, and so did my friends. Best cinnamon roll in town and the rest of the brunch was decent but the coffee... damn shame.
