Mineshaft Oshkosh

Been wanting to visit the Oshkosh location for some time and the place is huge! Much larger than the Hartford location but unfortunately not quite as quaint, but overall very nice. The service was fantastic as we were quickly seated and promptly waited on. My wife had the Cobb salad which looked fantastic, a great selection. I went with a cheeseburger and although I requested medium rare, the patty was simply not thick enough to allow. For those with kids the game room looked awesome and would certainly entertain them for quite some time.

I've been wanting to come here for over a year and since they started their fish special on Wednesdays too, we decided to give it a try tonight! I'd love to tell you that it was spectacular but it was just kind of okay. Especially considering Wisconsin tends to be known for its fish fry events. You can tell it's all from frozen, but there wasn't anything "bad " so to speak. For the price I'm glad we tried it. I'd go back to try other things. Their desserts did look delicious and I was digging the cabin vibe. It would be a fun place for a family night because the game room is HUGE! Our server was awesome which is why they're getting 3 stars not 2. This Oshkosh staple is worth a stop in, just don't expect a 5 star experience.** I will say my FAVORITE part of the meal was that marble rye bread! I wish they sold it. Warm soft fluffy...it was SOOO good! **

The pizza here is good, but not outstanding or above average. I would say it is a step above chain pizza, which is a minimum expectation at this type of establishment. An extensive breakfast buffet is featured on the weekends. I would rate the breakfast buffet four stars; however, the overall restaurant experience is still three stars. As good as the buffet is, none of the items stand out as gourmet or exceptional and that includes the regular menu items as well. On Mondays a BOGO pizza offer is available, which is a good deal.

There are a lot of customers for 8:20 pm. Good thing they serve until 10:00 pm on Fridays.

I wanted to give a shout out to the Mineshaft team and the Owner Dan. Dan was assisting the bar crew on a Friday rush.I wanted to give this fish special another try. Poor Man's Lobster - all you care to eat for $13.99 and a Prickly Pear Martini to wash it down. WINNER WINNER HADOCK DINNER!!! The Poor Man's lobster was baked perfectly. They are nice size bricks for a good mouth feel.Caden and Ethen took awesome care of us. Service was on point! I'll see you soon for your pizza special, your fish special and I just love your wings. Your staff enjoys their job. You are doing a lot of things right. Very festive atmosphere with the Christmas decor. Way to go!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!I have been a patron of Mineshaft since they opened in Oshkosh. Despite the hair I found in my burrito one day I kept going back because it was cheap. However, the lack of service when I walk into the place is unbelievable. EVERY time I stand in front of the desk to be seated (or even acknowledged for that matter) it's as if I don't exist!This time (The LAST time) I stood there for a couple minutes and watched 5 women behind the desk shuffle around like they had no idea what was going on. All of them saw me standing there. An elderly couple walks in and stands 2 feet away from me. An old bag behind the counter looks up and say "table for 2?, this way" UNREAL If a manager takes the time to read this which I highly doubt they will, you need to teach your employees customer service! Not for me, you lost my business for good. Do it for your future guests, even if they show up alone. Every single woman behind the service counter should be fired! I will be sharing this shitty experience with everyone I talk to.

They have amazing affordable prices for food, and it always hits the spot. Service overall very good, the atmosphere is good it's not too loud they have a lot of seating and is a really good place to take the family. They have a fun arcade room and there seating for there booths I love cuz there is so much room and you don't feel overwhelmed cuz there's not enough space. Really good place

Not sure who's writing a bad review but they're ###### this place serves delicious food, fresh and quick. The prices are insanely low for what you get. Yhe atmosphere is great, game area for the kids is huge, bar is stocked well pours aren't super light like most places. Bathrooms have always been clean, food hot. The all you can eat fish...omg FOGET ABOUT IT! 10/10 service too! I'll be back often!

12/23/2024 Found the Mineshaft was offering BOGO pizza's Monday nights. Knowing their food is generally on the good finding the cost for one large 4 topping pizza was a bit expensive at $23.00 plus ,though a bogo offer would make it a bit more reasonable. Wrong, worst pizza ever. Ordered a thin crust. if that was their thin crust, I can't imagine what thick crust would have weighted. Aside from that, the pizza was over cooked and some parts to the extent of burnt. Overall was outright terrible and total waste of money. The fact that a part of the first pizza hit the garbage, was good reason to do the same with the second. Can't not say how disappointed it was. Expected much more being the Mindshaft. Never ever again, BOGO or not, was not worth the gas it took to pick it up.!!!

We went there first time on Saturday will never go again. Our server took our order and brought us our drinks and never seen him again someone elese brought our food out to us. He was catering to the bigger tables often as we were right next to one walked past us several times not even stopping in and checking if we needed something which we did but its a whatever now. didn't care about his smaller tables.. and that's to bad because the food was great. Sat there 20 min after done eating before he even stopped and gave us our bill.
