Milwaukee Ale House - Grafton

This place is so cute! I love sitting on the patio overlooking the river. Very relaxing. Service A+ Lillian was fantastic! Very sweet and made sure we were taken care of. Ambiance is A. Love sitting outside. Food was very good! A Fish and Chips was outstanding! Beer too!

Unusually quiet for a Friday, we came in with authentic group, including kiddos and were able to sit immediately. The staff made sure we had enough room for high chairs and provided crayons and kids menus. When the adults weren't quite ready to order, the server took the kid's orders first so they didn't have to wait which was a great move. The atmosphere was great, everyone enjoyed (though didn't rave about) the food, and the beer selection was varied enough for all tastes. Will return.

Came here on a Friday night. We had been sitting for about 10 minutes before our waitress came over. We ordered drinks and appetizer which came pretty fast like 5-ish minutes. When we ordered our dinners I was excited for my fish tacos and my parents excited for their fish Frys. My mahi mahi fish tacos tasted like straight fish. I normally order fish tacos and they don't taste this fishy. My parents fish fry tasted rubbery. The waitress seemed not happy about being there either.

Bartender, Bob was very attentive & entertaining told good stories, & makes a perfect cocktail!

Great food and cool outdoor view in the summer! Drinks were strong and delicious too.

Hey it has a slight chain feel but the view and your companions make up for that foods good it's worth the stop!!

Food was good, not necessarily memorable. Good atmosphere and service. Cheese curds were the highlight for me, and came with bonus fries

3 of us were there for a birthday lunch. The burger was OK. 2 of us ordered from the Specials menu ... the fettuccine was described as"fabulous" by the birthday girl. The crab cake sandwich was nasty, cold, and tasted "fishy". The server, who was also the bartender, argued with me that everything they use is "fresh". Maybe it was fresh on Friday, definitely not on Monday. No offer to adjust the bill or even apologize. I won't be returning.

Went here for a fish fry last Friday and it was refreshingly good. It's been so long since I had a good fish fry. The service was good she was nice. We sat outside which was beautiful by the water and it wasn't too cold or too out. Over all a very nice place great place to bring an out of town friend for dinner.

Paid a visit to this gem with some friends that are local yo the area and started planning to come back after my first few bites! Awesome food, cocktails, and casual atmosphere! Being from Michigan it's nice to see how people on the other side of the lake do it. MAH-Grafton does it well!
