Everything about the grocery shopping experience at Miller & Son's is great from the moment you walk in to when you drive away happily with your car full of groceries. Upon first arrival you'll be greeted with a new location with a nice smooth pavement parking lot. Sometimes you'll also find brats being grilled outside. Walking in, there are HUGE shopping carts that are super tall. I have no idea why they're so tall. Are people in this part of Wisconsin all 6'6" and taller?Highlights from my visits are:- A wide selection of produce here that's all fresh with both organic and non-organic options.- Fancy hippie drinks section with locally made kombucha - Lots of different cuts of meat with organic options available- Shelves stocked with a good selection of packaged foods- Beer, wine, liquor section with a huge walk-in beer cooler. Bring a sweater or jacket. It's freezing in there!- I love all the locally sourced options. I noticed local options for wine, tomatoes, eggs, bacon, and beer.Checking out once you've selected all your great food and drink is a breeze. Checkout lines have been short every time I've been there. And the best part, at the end you'll have a friendly teenage runner/loader who will walk you to your car and load your groceries for you! Wegmans, you better look out. Miller & Son's is coming after you!

I really love the catering services that Millers & Sons Supermarket offers. They have helped us several times prepare yummy meals and treats for our staff meetings and gatherings. We are grateful to have access to such a wonderful supermarket in Mt Horeb.

Great service, and for a small, local grocery, selection and prices aren't bad either. Always well-staffed, well-lit and clean. Personnel at the bakery and meat counters are always eager to help. Checkout lines are always short. They bring your groceries out to your car with no expectation of a tip. Nice beer cooler. Plenty of parking. Just well-done all the way around.

Having witnessed this since my last review, I believe it is worthy of a shout out on behalf of Miller & Sons. They have a program which donates groceries, produce and other items which most supermarkets throw out to local animal rescues like Heartland Farm Sanctuary, and also to local senior centers and retirement communities. So they are really doing their part to reduce food waste in the community. They deserve a lot of credit and community support.

Some stuff seems a little pricey, but other things, like meat, you can get for a good deal. You never wait in line to check out and everyone that works here is very nice.

Avoid like the plague. (Because you will be) Absolute and total disregard for Covid mask mandate. Employees wearing masks with their noses hanging out, as chinstraps and not at all. I stopped counting at 12. Customers walking around without masks. I attempted to speak to the store manager who came out with his nose hanging out of his mask, and he just shrugged and walked back into his office. If he had shown some concern I might not be writing this but the whole place is a walking advertisement for ignorance. I used to like this store but I won't be returning.
