Milford Hills Hunt Club

Stopped in for Friday fish at 4:45pm and were seated immediately by our friendly and attentive hostess. My bourbon old fashioned was very good. We started with the pheasant poppers; pheasant wrapped in bacon and jalapeño, outstanding! We both ordered the fried walleye with side salad. The walleye was hot, lightly battered and delicious. The salad had a nice mix of fresh crisp greens. Very pleasant experience in an elegant setting and beautiful view of the surrounding countryside.

Amazing hunting, amazing food, amazing service and amazing people! There is a little something for everyone at Milford Hills!

Was here for a gathering for my wife's grandmother. The food reminded me of my high school cafeteria. It was bland, obviously mass produced and just plain bad. The price was outrageous for what I would consider liw end buffet food. A total waste of money and the sad thing was, I had to puck up take out on my way home because I was still hungry.

Just north of Lake Mills off I-94 and definitely worth the drive from Madison. They are a full service handgun and rifle range with five-stand shotgun and sporting clay ranges. They also have pheasant hunting areas, dog washes, and a very upscale clubhouse and gun/supply shop. The landscaping is always beautifully done and the grounds very well-maintained. They have a large, well kept and organized parking area, all readily accessible for mobility - challenged guests. The service there is always good and the prices are very reasonable, including in the gun shop ("The Trading Post"). In the last few years during the .22 ammunition shortage, they always seemed to have it at reasonable prices. This is my favorite shooting facility in Wisconsin and believe they have been awarded the highest shooting range ratings for their high standards and service. Very well deserved. For those who neither enjoy nor support the shooting sports--I respect and get it--I encourage you to visit and see how well it can be done professionally, maturely, and safely. Perhaps it will not change your mind or provide any additional comfort. But perhaps it will provide some additional understanding for your shooting enthusiast friends and family.

I thought the food was well thought out, loved the pheasant on the menu. Poppers were tasty, bacon may have over-powered some of the other flavors. Fries were nice and crispy. Burger was excellent and actually done medium as requested. LOVED the pheasant club. I'm still snacking on it, :) Great view. We got a drink and sat outside after our late lunch.

What a great experience! The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. I've never been bird hunting before, I've just shot trap. I went out with a group of 4, a guide and 2 dogs. I got 2 pheasants! They clean the birds for you so they're ready to take home. We had lunch before the hunt and it was delicious, I recommend the pheasant jalapeño poppers and the elk burger. After you hunt, enjoy some drinks around the fireplace!

Outstanding fish fry. Great atmosphere too. We'll be back. Pheasant poppers were outstanding.

Great food and service was excellent, the Brie from the dining room was beautiful. They have a full bar.

Went to for Easter brunch today and the food was sub par. I had been excited to go here for a long time and I was disappointed. It was one of the more expensive brunches that I looked up for this weekend. The food wasn't my main issue though. I was seated right next to the main entrance door I was so close to the door that I could reach over and open it for people if I wanted to. It was a nice day today but we and an early reservation at 845 and it was a little brisk. Every time someone would come in a strong enough breeze to blow my wife and daughter's hair around came can in. Most of my food was cold by the chance I got to eat it. I very nicely informed the manager and she was extremely rude and informed me that there was nothing they could do about. So we stuck it out and finally our waitress realized how bad it was and apologized for it. Which we very much appreciated and she took our kids meal off the bill. Even after that I still felt upset with it. It was extremely uncomfortable. For a country club I would have expected better customer service. There was plent of way to fix the issue but they made do efforts to resolve the issue. Which mean every customer after that had to go though the same issue.
