Pretty soild breakfast come every Sunday, foods pretty good, service is really good, wish they would add/change up breakfast meals like having specials or something for the month

Was looking for a place for supper and checked out their menu online. Saw they made their own root beer. Headed right in. I've been past this place before but never thought much about it; fairly nondescript from the road. Been to Ardy and Ed's and Leon's for root beer dozens of times, have friends in town, but they never mentioned it. Friday, so of course I got the fish fry special. Shrimp, perch, haddock, or all three. I got the combo. Perch was great. Shrimp was good. Haddock was okay. Done fine, thick filets, just not my thing I guess. Decent fries, good coleslaw. Coleslaw was small, but every other portion was big. I had leftovers. The root beer was great. Sweet, but with a bite. Refreshing on a hot day.Good service. Good prices. A bit out of the way, very old school, nothing fancy. But good, and filling.

Cheapest breakfast in town. Great staff and quick service. Bigger plates would be nice so you can have everything in one dish instead of 2.

Perfect place for breakfast! Service is always genuine and kind, the atmosphere feels very diner friendly and welcoming, and the food is just amazing! Especially the eggs Benedict.

The quality and taste of the food and friendly service was all fantastic! The prices here were very reasonable. I loved my pecan waffle and my husband had the Diablo wrap and it was so good! Our kids and parents loved everything they had as well! I definitely recommend Mike's Place for breakfast! It looked like lots of locals which is always a good sign!

just went here with my family and will not be back. the waitress never checked on us, sides were forgotten which was mentioned when the food came and we never got them. Didn't get a coffee refill at all, waitress didn't check on us once, and when we were done we had to get up and get our own boxes. No service whatsoever after bringing our food and drinks. And they weren't even busy; not even half full.

The locals eat here. Tells you what you need to know doesn't it? While it was packed they run like a well oiled machine. Took our order right away. Coffee is good. Good mix of crowd. We had a good time and the food was great. Breakfast omelette. Pancakes. Smiles. Recommend!

Food was EXCELLENT!! All the staff was very friendly and very accommodating!! Everyone worked together as a team! Great Atmosphere! Definitely will be back!

went for breakfast today, had one pancake, its huge, and was delicious, then i had 2 scrambled eggs. They were crazy busy but we managed to get a table without a long wait. Our waitress was Andrea, she is fast and very nice, will be back!
