Always have to lineup to check out.
That's very reasonable for brisket and it might be ok for a couple sandwiches once heated up, we will see

It's 9:45 on a Sunday morning they have 1 cashier and the lines for self check out are ridiculously long. 10 people deep on both ends. Insane.

Yesterday evening around 7:45pm, while I was at the checkout counter, I encountered an unfavorable experience. A cashier named 'Samayia,' who appeared disinterested in her role, initiated the checkout process for my purchases. A few minutes before she began serving me, a male individual, conspicuously bald and attired in a "Security" shirt, whispered something in her ear presumably concerning my friend and myself.Shortly thereafter, another female employee, characterized by her waist-length braids and wearing leggings and crocs, positioned herself behind the aforementioned checkout assistant and directed an unpleasing glare in my direction, exhibiting a discourteous demeanor. She subsequently relocated to the area where my friend was positioned near our shopping cart, deliberately obstructing the cart's movement.Upon completing my transaction, this employee proceeded to accompany us toward the exit, behaving in a manner akin to a loss prevention officer. This series of events has left me with a negative impression of the overall ambiance and customer service within this store. In light of these observations, I am compelled to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service experience provided here.

RIBS ON MEMORIAL DAY! When Heaven's Gate was closed on May 30, despite all advertising to the contrary, I remembered that Metro Marthas ribs in the hot grab and go section. Bought a rack and some brisketfor $9.99 each. Both were good, although the smoke flavor was not strong. But Metro saved the day-- and we were thankful. We will trythem again.

The lady sent me a picture of some ribs that she was having for dinner so I asked her where she got them and she said Metro has them in the hot grab and go section. I asked her if they were real smoked ribs like the smoked brisket sandwich that I had in the Shore wood store that was not bad at all for the price about $7 and she said yes.The store it self is just like any other Metro store with a great produce section as well as the fresh seafood and meat section. The Todd's bbq section is next to the grill where they will grill you a fresh sandwich again when this virus thing is over but you can still get the bbq. The grab and go section has full dinners ready to heat and eat along with bbq items. She was right because they had a full slab of ribs for a ridiculous price of $9.99 in the grab and go case. The ribs looked and smelled just like a good bbq restaurant would serve to my amazement with a great bark. The ribs were actually tasty with a nice smoke flavor and a tasty rub that had to be about 17 bones and meaty. The ribs were tender and moist that were better than a lot of bbq places that I have been to.This is a great option for grab and go bbq ribs I thought because they were decent and when you consider a big meaty rack for only $9.99 out the door, the price vs quality is amazing because I have never had a full rack of decent bbq ribs for under $10. I would definitely get Todd's bbq again after the brisket sandwich and ribs because it totally satisfies my bbq thirst.

As a long-time customer and advocate of Metcalf's Sentry market down the street, I was uninterested in checking out Metro Market when they first took over Pick 'n Save. Out of curiosity and because of comments I've read from others, I finally started visiting the market a couple of months ago and now shop there from time to time.I was pleasantly surprised to find things at Metro that stand out or aren't the same as Metcalf's. The produce, the quantity, the quality and the prices are much better at Metro Market, in my opinion. The summer seasonal fruit selection is especially broader and more plentiful.Metro has a dedicated full-sized seafood case that is heads and shoulders above Metcalf's. There are always multiple local and shipped fish choices, wild caught as well as farm raised. Metro also seems to have more specials on choice and prime grade rib-eye, New York and Porterhouse steaks than Metcalf's (down the street). Again, the prices are better. The other eye-popping area for me at Metro is the dedicated deli and hot and/or prepared food area, something Metcalf's doesn't have. Deli sandwiches are made by request by several attendants or if you are on the run, they have an array of sandwiches already made and ready to go. The prices are VERY reasonable. Fried chicken, whole rotisserie chicken and barbecue ribs packaged to go are also always available, also at reasonable price points, unlike Metcalf's.When it comes to general shelf pricing, I'm not that tuned in, but I have noticed some items are also cheaper here; i.e., Gatorade, bottled water, etc., but that can change from time to time, I'm sure.As a big produce consumer, though, the number one thing that brings me into the store, of late, is definitely the produce.

Metro Market is basically an upgraded Pick 'n Save. They've got a beer bar, BBQ, Starbucks, and a more robust cheese, wine, and beer selection than your run-of-the-mill Pick 'n Save.Which, makes sense. They're situated in Tosa, surrounded by upscale grocers (Outpost, Metcalfe's). One imagines that such upgrades are necessary to stay competitive in such a highly competitive area.Their selection is better than your typical Pick 'n Save but not as comprehensive or gourmet as Metcalfes and not as organic/non-GMO as Outpost. That said, their prices are more aligned with their Pick 'n Save roots than those other two grocers. The beer bar is cool. They serve a variety of local craft brews. Not sure if you could fill your growler there, but seems plausible? The BBQ smelled fantastic, but we didn't partake. It's pretty dang busy on a Sunday afternoon (as one might expect), but all the lines move along nicely. And, since they are affiliated with Pick 'n Save, you can use your Pick 'n Save frequent shopper card here for discounts. All in all...a solid, a-ok.

My grandma got me a cake from here for my birthday, she claims it's better than any bakery around. Upon tasting this beautifully decorated cake, I'd be foolish NOT to agree. I requested marble and the only downside is that it only comes in the 8 in cake size. But to be honest, I'm not even mad we have so much left over. Would definitely go back!

I wish I could give this store negative 5 stars. Everyone from Tyler in management down to the barista's at Starbucks are complete imbecile's! Today I was harassed because the barista got my order wrong and decided to argue with me back-and-forth and threaten me. All while I'm with my child. Tyler in management did not make it any better nor defuse the situation and decided to remove me from the store without giving me a refund. Thank you to the young lady at Starbucks corporate for refunding me and adding extra for my difficulties. I am waiting to hear back from the district manager regarding Tyler! I am taking this complaint all the way up the chain and I will be filing a harassment suit!

Horrible service. Food, not fresh, ambiance putting a bar in the grocery store will not change the fact that service in the actual grocery store is bad. And I'm not opposed to bars. Sorry, been going there for over 30 years and it is at it's all time low.
