In A Nutshell:-Metro Market was a great grocery store right across the street from The Plaza Hotel.-The convenience played a crucial part since I was able to buy snacks, fruit & prepped meals like salmon or stuffed cabbage.-They also have a nice selection of wine & Wisconsin cheese.-What interesting fact was that I attempted to buy wine just after 9pm but they wouldn't let me b/c its not legal after 9pm.Overall, I really enjoyed stopping inside this grocery on a daily basis for all my needs.

Service is excellent and I get quality . They stand by the product . Everyone is friendly and helpful

They have the worst customer service that I have ever experienced at a Supermarket! They seem as if they are not trained to be nice and quite frankly I have had rude encounters the three times that I have gone in to buy things. There is a limited variety of food so this makes it a market that you go to when you forget something small. They do a good job with keeping the store clean, and bright so it was easy to find what you need, if they carry it. But the lack of customer service skills is what is a deal breaker for me. They are all rude, like really rude. Save yourself the trouble and go two blocks down to Pick and Save!

I have lived downtown for 8 years and Metro Market has steadily declined. Really sketchy, possibly even dangerous, clientele which has led to liquor being guarded by a staff person and a regularly stationed police officer (in addition to an employees security guard). Chronically long lines and almost no staffed checkout lanes - a recent review's photo is very typical. Time to find a new go-to.

Whenever I use the self checkout it often has a clutch. Always a couple not working. They always say I'm doing it wrong. I'm a self checkout geek. I'm not doing it wrong lolAs far as the store goes it's pretty goodOne thing though. I buy plums there and the fruit at Fresh Tyme are way better. More expensive tooThe store employee Rachelle is awesome. She always does a great job and really takes care of her customers. She has been there a while too.

I was first introduced to the Metro Market at the start of the virus so many of the amenities were not available and since then I have been to three of them and this one had the most going on. The fresh hot pizzas were out at this store and the fresh hot sandwich's were out also. The fresh grilled sandwich's were also on with the meat case having sausage, ribeye steaks and burgers. The Starbucks was open but the beer station was still closed. The self serve hot table was not open but package items in its place. The gelato case looked open at this store with a woman filling up containers. The bbq restaurant was open with the fullest hot table of any store so far.They have plenty of pre packaged food from sandwich's, hot food to dinners etc etc. The fresh meat and seafood cases are among the best for grocery stores. Although I didn't get to shop with a beer today it's still just one of the best grocery stores in Milwaukee.

Kroger Metro Mart in Brookfield has replaced the delicious frozen cod that was available recently with their own brand. Now their cod is very fishy andvery tough and really bad !

We bought a 6 dollar rotisserie chicken. We were so excited for this chicken. Only to find it to be the driest, flavorless, sad excuse for a chicken. Absolutely so seasoning, no juices in the bottom, did not fall off the bone. And no amount of salt or pepper was going save us. There was a slight taste of cardboard. The color was a bit pink, which was confusing since it was dryer than the Sarah dessert in the summer. Conflicting instructions about reheating. Everything else we bought today was great

What the actual f? I've never seen a worse run store and I saw a show about how bad Family Dollar gets. Staff needs to get off their high horse. Often one cashier for a line of people going around the entire store. Rats. Homeless ppl begging for booze money. Teenagers getting treated like slaves or else being let run around doing nothing. Security up in everyone's face yet somehow on their phones not working at all. Disgusting.
