Very quiet, but friendly and fast service. Can't say that there is a warm atmosphere, but the Sammie's were great.

Led here by a friend and I wasn't led wrong! Had the Very Berry turkey sub and it was great. Great helping of meat, good bread, GREAT price. I'll be back 10000 %

So, i hate using the phrase hidden gem, and i try not to use it. But this is EXACTLY what Merton Sub Company is. Located in the old Merton Fire Dept. building in the town of Merton is an excellent sandwich place. I heard about this place from a co-worker a couple of years ago and never made time to try it out, but upon moving to the area i had some time and have had the chance to try it twice and it's was awesome both times. The owner is super friendly prices are right and portions are good. using what seems like only fresh ingredients. If you're ever in the area slow down cause you might miss it and give Merton Sub Co. a try. you won't be disappointed.

Best subs in Wisconsin. Fresh bread, fresh ingredients. I have never been disappointed. Large sandwich menu made to order. Platters for meetings or parties.

I don't review on Yelp much, but made a point to do so for this place. This is the type of place that every community or neighborhood should have available, but only a very lucky few do. No frills, glitz or pomp, just extremely tasty sub sandwiches. It's virtually impossible to go there a few times without ending up on a first name basis with the owner/operator Mark, or getting pulled into conversation with other customers while ordering and waiting. If you're not going for snooty accoutrements and veneer, but instead for high quality food with a friendly feel, you'll love it, and if you're in it for those other things, you'll have your mind changed real fast. Yum.And to make it easy on people that tend to shy away from not knowing the protocol at a new place: the menu can be found online somewhere on social media I believe, and stays mostly the same, but you need to actually go there to see what it is exactly for that day. Cash only, you walk up and order and wait. Each sub comes with choice of chips or drink, and it's something of the honor system with grabbing your chips/drink and checking out (which will make more sense when you see things for yourself). Don't expect to deal with exact change in coins or anything. Kind of treat it like lemonade stand rules - good people just round up to nice even increments and say thank you.

Mark can make a sub and he knows sports as little. Haha he's a great guy! Every ingredient is Deli quality. Stacks of meat and cheese. Great pepper's. Has everything. The tradesman all come at lunch. Everyday. For $12 bucks you get a drink and a can of soda! Mark know

My favorite subs! The bread, meat, veggies... it's all high quality & fantastic! The specialty menu has great flavor combinations too. Just remember - CASH only! We visit family in Lake Country every two years, and Merton Sub Company is always on our list of places to eat. It's that good!

Maybe the best turkey sub I have ever had. We were in town for a tournament and luckily tried them absolutely awesome sandwich.

This place is amazingly good. The bread is perfect, lots of meat and fixings. Highly recommend this little sandwich shop. Mark is a very personable guy too.
