Abdul is awesome and personable! My friend and I love stopping in and trying their wines and ciders. We end up staying longer than intended but we love it!

Never been to a Cidery before. Visiting Wisconsin and sightseeing. This place was so good my husband told me to be sure to leave a Yelp review. So good! I'm a big wine fan but these ciders really impressed me! PS. We took home a case. Peach and Cinnamon are the bomb!

Very cool spot that used to be a movie theater. Well made ciders and friendly atmosphere. They offer flights of 5 ciders, which is quite nice as they have many different varieties. I really liked their original, the Snowed in Cinnamon, and the Grapple Cider (has grape juice so tastes like a wine/cider hybrid). Most are offered to go in 750 ml or 4 packs of 12 oz bottles. Out of the7 I tried, 3 were really good, 3 were good, and 1 I didn't care for. Worth the stop and seeking out in Stoughton, or if you are in the Madison area.

The old Stoughton Cinema Cafe has been converted into Mershon's Cidery. The building still feels really unfinished, so don't come here for any kind of ambiance. But the ciders are good. I recommend a flight, because the flavor you like the best might surprise you. I thought I would like Peach the best, but the berry ended up being my favorite!

Don't follow the highway signs. It was misleading that this was an Apple cidery, but you walk in and it's more or less a bar.

Just tried a cidery in Stoughton! Delicious varieties - my favorite was the seasonal one with cinnamon. Friendly owner, Joseph. He gave us a tour of the cidery and told us all about the fermenting process.I can see this being a great place to hang out in the summer. It's tucked away in an industrial park, so it was a little hard to find. But Joseph showed us the sign they're installing soon which will give them much more visibility. This cider is available at several locations in Madison and Stoughton, so I'll be looking for them when I'm out eating, too.

Studiously tasted each offering. One was completely off! Told the proprietor and he tasted it and said it was supposed to be that way. No, cider is not supposed to taste like yeast. Anyway, we found two we liked and bought a four pack each. Fast forward two months and shocker, one set was off. It had lost its fizz, held notes of vinegar and contained an unusual amount of sludge at the bottom. What a huge disappointment and colossal waste of money.

When we walked into this unfinished, awkward space, we were put off by the state of it. Then we were told that of out of the list of 8-9 selections, only three were available. We sampled the pear, grapple and dry varieties. The pear and grapple tasted like children's sickly sweet juice. The dry was bland. Nonetheless, we ordered a dry and a pear and mixed them as they were not good on their own. They weren't much better mixed. As much as I'd love to support local businesses, we'll never go there again.
