Merrimac Scoop

Great place to get a "scoop" or two of delicious ice cream! They have a very nice set up on the lake with a dock, picnic tables, bags and a wonderful view of the lake. The staff is super nice too!

This is my all time favorite place to go after riding the ferry. The ice cream is always good and then you can go relax on the dock, you just have to be kinda careful when walking on it. And then the best part it riding the ferry back to the other side of the river.

You're sitting there on a hot summer day waiting for the ferry. You've been hiking and climbing all day and you're hungry and thirsty, but more so just hot and out of energy. The ferry can take 2-3 passes before you can cross so what do you do? You get out of your car and get a tall slab of fattening ice cream in a waffle cone and eat it like it's nobody's business. Well, at least, that's what we did.This wasn't our first time at this dance, the ferry line was a few trips stacked and I was in the mood for some sea salt caramel ice cream. Excellent pick-me-up in between climbing at one state park and heading to another.Cheers

Best ice cream!!! I love the ice cream here as well as the guys running the place. So friendly, they have brats, hot dogs, pizza, yummy!!!!I just wish we had one of these ice cream shops in Illinois. Too good to be true! See you soon.

Lovely ice cream shop (operates with The Chocolate Shop ice cream) on the Lodi side of the Merrimac Ferry crossing on Lake Wisconsin.Tasty ice cream! They also have pretzels, popcorn, hot dogs, etc. The staff are very cool - Andrew is apparently the same person as my husband. ;) Same age, both Ninja Turtles fans (purple everything!!).

The staff were so awesome and friendly and the ice cream was phenomenal! We will definitely be back in the near future!

Literally love this place. My family went here about every night during our stay in Lodi the last two summers. Ice cream is A+, but the reason this place gets five stars is because of the staff...absolutely phenomenal. I don't know if I've met friendlier employees in my entire life. Within a few days my family had gotten close to the family who owns this place. ASK FOR PAM!!!!! :)

Fun and friendly times in the Lake! Really a cool experience to be able to have ice cream while waiting for a Ferry ride.

The service at the Merrimac scoop is always fantastic. They set an excellent example for customer service!

Great stop on either side of the ferry! Prefer cedarcrest to chocolate shoppe, but that's just personal preference!
