I finally found hot Chinese mustard that taste just like a good restaurant version
a box of food in the back seat of a car
Roots
the inside of a refrigerated refrigerator
Keeping an eye on the fish.
shelves of food and snacks
a refrigerator full of food
Yogurt, white rabbit milk, ...
Tastes just like the restaurant when you mix it with water
Fish to the right, forklift front and center.

Nice Asian market in the area. It is bigger inside than it looks. They also accept EBT. Would recommend stopping by for Asian food staples.

Great Asian market. A lot of choices. The only thing I would improve is a better understanding of what's where. It is located in a small strip mall with SzeChuan and other Asian store. Well stocked with authentic Asian staples They also have fresh fish. Definitely coming back. Much better area than some other Asian stores.

This place is a small mom and pop's store. The owners are very friendly! Unlike your typical grocery store, they have fresh live seafood, tons of Asian fruits and veggies. Did I mention they have 3 aisle of snacks and different varieties of drinks? Definitely worth the trip!

I think a correction is in order here. Not an "Asian" plaza. CHINESE. Not the same thing. Mei Hua means plum blossom in Han Chinese. Chinese and Vietnamese think plum blossoms symbolize resilience because they bloom even in adverse weather. This grocery has a wide range of Far East Asian goods, with some Southeast Asian groceries. Virtually no Central or South Asian selections. We wouldn't describe a Polish Deli as a "White" store, right? Or a Mexican grocery as an "American" store...well actually, Trevor Noah says "there's nothing more American than tacos," so maybe we should. Anyway, the selection here is pretty amazing. Lots of ingredients as well as prepared frozen and instant foods you just can't find anywhere else in the region. Mostly Chinese, but also a fair selection of Korean, Vietnamese, Lao, and some Japanese, Burmese, Thai, and Cambodian foodstuffs. And really diverse in terms of the Chinese goods, for tastes from all over China. You can often tell the ethnic demography of an Asian grocery by the rice section. This store has a great selection of rice for ethnically Chinese tastes. Workers are very helpful, they stay out of your way if that's what you want, but if you need help they know where everything is which is more impressive if you visit. A very important skill is that they can give you specific recommendations if you know what you ate and liked, can show them a YELP picture, and explain you're trying to make it yourself. You may get talked into some oddly specific cookware, and ingredients with no translation, but you'll be better able to follow the you-tube video with the Chinese cook. I never understood why Chinese chopsticks are so much longer than Japanese hachi, but it turns out you need the added distance from the dangerously hot Chinese food coming out of frying oil. There's a very good selection of prepared frozen foods like buns to steam and serve, fishcake, and instant noodles so don't think that you have to try to learn how to cook Chinese to shop here. Still, a real rice steamer is a must. And remember, China is not the same thing as Asia, though Chinese influence did spread far.
