Mazorca Tacos is a food truck located at the Zocalo Food Truck Park. I've been here a few times, and each time I come I eat tacos, despite the fact there are other food trucks with food I will eventually try. : ) Each time I've been, there was a small line. The tacos here are full of flavor and fresh-tasting, each time I've visited. They are served on small corn tortillas. They are only about $3 each, with a vegetarian option also. I usually eat 2 or 3 but others would need more. I've tried the Al Pastor, Bistec, and the Chicken. You can grab a beer at the tavern or try one of Zocalo's offerings, such as Topo Chico or Coke in a glass bottle. Once you get your food, you grab a picnic table to eat. When I was there a few days ago, they had covered picnic tables, which can be reserved in advance. Otherwise, the tables are first come, first served. There are other food places at Zocalo to try. This is one of my go-tos for tacos. A friend was coming to visit Milwaukee form Chicago and asked me for some reasonably-priced places to eat. Guess what I recommended? This place. : )

4.5This was my 1st time at Zolxalo because I am a loser! The bartender said this place was one of his favorites and I love tacos so.. Overall - great things come in small packages. These tacos are small - plan on 3-5 depending on your hunger level. Deliciousness - hell yeah. Tortillas are hand pressed, and overall everything is SO GOOD. I ordered on line and they missed a request but whatever, shit was delicious.

I wasn't aware that they have TWO trucks at this location. I got the 1913 and the veggie tacos and they are amazing! Wait wasn't long at all, The elote cups are pretty good size but you'll want seconds. Towards the end of our tacos The most amazing woman was walking around selling delicious churros! If she's not, the truck is located right next to scratch!

I visited on a busy Sunday during an event. I ordered a steak burrito with avocado. The wait was 10 min or less. The burrito was hot, flavorful, and large.

Stationed at Zocalo food park, Mazorca Tacos made it into our epic quest to find the best consume in the city. Service was freaky fast. However, if you order online and you already checked in but your order isn't up yet, let them know that you are there in person, too. They tend to be busy and can forget to check the online orders consistently.Anyway, back to the food....We only ordered 1 order of the birria tacos. They were advertised to come with consume, but they don't. No extra juice on the side. :( HOWEVER, they load the tacos wet - they don't let the meat drip dry, they just slap it into the tortilla so you do actually get quite a deliciously succulent bite of birria beef drenched in consume. I really loved the tomato "comsume" they served with the tacos and I really liked that they added pickled red onion, which isn't perfectly traditional, but it's so tasty!

A sad husk of a once great food truck. We ordered pastor burritos today. They arrived packed with lettuce, then some rice, a little unmelted cheese and finally, a small scattering of pork. $12 for a tortilla-wrapped, iceberg salad masquerading as a pork burrito. It's been years since this place was good. How are they still in business? Because this is Milwaukee, and our citizens have such low standards. The food truck park they engineered, Zocalo, is a fun place to visit. But avoid the taco truck; it stinks. And could you add more umbrellas or shade? The place is oppressive much of the summer. Otherwise, I would go for lunch during the week, but I can't go back to the office for a shower. Two thumbs up for the margaritas in the bar though.

The food, service, & ambiance. Came up from the Chicago area. First time in Milwaukee. Definitely the best tacos I've had ever. My husband and I had the vegan and veggie tacos. The tortilla seems fresh and distinct. So yummy. I never paid any mind to any tortilla in a taco before. Flavor is. Chef's kiss

These were some of the best tacos I ever had, including the places in Mexico City I stuffed my face at. They're not large, $3.00 each, but all of them pack a punch of flavor. I could eat thirty of them at one seating. You will not be disappointed, and we did take out, munching on these tacos 30 minutes after we picked them up. They were still delicious.

MEH. This is NOT a birria taco. Shell with meat and tomato "salsa". Birria tacos are cooked on the grill and include consommé. We waited almost 20 min for 3 tacos and a side of rice. Food is decent but definitely not worth the wait and the price.

Taco trucks are a great option in the era of socially-distanced dining, and Mazorca Tacos (located in the Zocalo Food Park) is a solid choice for reasonably priced street tacos. Our first attempts using the online system failed due to the max capacity of orders being reached at that time, but we were eventually able to sample the al pastor, birria, and bistec tacos as well as the chips and guac. The al pastor taco was definitely our favorite with flavorful moist pork topped with avocado cilantro salsa and onions. The birria and bistec tacos were less impressive as the beef seemed a bit drier. Keep in mind that the tacos are small (my husband needed at least 4 to have a satisfying meal) so order accordingly!
