Mazatlan

I'm originally from California, visiting for work. The staff this evening gave me great advice on what to order and kept checking on me as I had a beer and waited at the bar for my takeout order. Very friendly staff. Food was really good!!

We were waited on right away and food came quickly and hot ! Very welcoming atmosphere. You could hold a conversation without having to talk over the music, like someplaces. Food was definitely authentic as they advertise. Lot of flavor. Would recommend

I love this restaurant! My friend and I meet between Milwaukee and Madison and we tried Mazatlan this time--I'm so happy we did. Free chips and salsa--salsa had a little kick which I really liked. The marg was sweet and my steak quesadilla was hot and the veggies in it fresh. Our waiter was SO patient with us (we talk so much) and so kind. The restaurant is so bright and vibrant and the bathroom was really clean!

We went twice - lunch & dinner. Both times had chicken fajitas. Both times they were very bland. I know there's not much sauce involved in fajitas, but these were just plain dry. Like everything was on the grill a bit too long.Further, the lunch fajitas were very skimpy. Yes, lunch portions can be a bit less as the price is a little less. But this is the 1st time I've had fajitas anywhere & left hungry.Otherwise, service was good & prompt.

The restaurant is very new, looks nice, and has a friendly vibe to it. The staff is very kind and helpful. They get the food out pretty fast and serve comp chips too! (Always a necessity at a Mexican place). The food was very good. I've been here multiple times and it's always been excellent! I'll be back.

This restaurant opened recently, and though there are multiple good Mexican places around the area, my wife and I decided to check it out. First off, we got the complimentary chips and salsa along with an extra side of guacamole. The chips were fresh, the salsa had just the right amount of heat. You could tell the guacamole was made fresh. It was chunky, had fresh cilantro in it, and it was delicious. I had their shrimp in special sauce and onions, with 2 tortillas, off the lunch menu. It was very good and just the right amount for lunch. My wife had the chimichanga lunch special and was very pleased. The place was just remodeled and was very festive. The service was quick and friendly. I gave it 4 stars as I didn't really see anything that set it apart from other good Mexican restaurants. Will likely stop back again to try some of the other menu items.

Everything was an overpriced. Salsa and chips were bland. Waited a long time for food to come. When it did, it was overcooked to the point of inedible. There are plenty other Mexican restaurants in the area with much better food.

Food was pretty good. A fellow diner ordered a Chimichanga that did not appear to be fried? No crisp in at all?All in all our meals were above average and the server was very good! Typical Mexican restaurant decor.

Easy off freeway. Great service and food. I celebrated my birthday with my sister and thoroughly enjoyed it at Mazatlán.

Food was awesome we had seafood burritos and they were excellent. They had shrimp and scallops so good. Atmosphere was great. Good location in front of Menards.
