Mateo’s Restaurant

Mateo's is a clean friendly and a delicious decision if you're in the Waupun area! The servers are very polite and speedy. The food is spectacular and it comes out fast. The food is also very affordable for the generous portion sizes. I look forward to coming back here for lunch. They have an outstanding breakfast!

I would say this is the best place to have breakfast in Waupun. There isn't many options but this is my favorite quality breakfast in this small town. The skillets they have here are my favorite from any other place nearby. They have a big variety of options and they all come hot, fresh, and ready. If you like a big breakfast for a cheap price, the skillet is a great thing to choose. I love the food here but I don't like seeing dirty floors, walls, and flies that buzz around. If Mateo's Restaurant was a bit cleaner I would've gave it a higher rating. Food - 3.5 Stars. The food is hot, fresh and they're always generous with their portions. Service - 4 Stars.Everyone works fast and you never have to wait for refills. They're always quick to be nice and welcoming. Atmosphere - 2 Stars.It's a small diner with very little seating which isn't very comfortable and there's always flies buzzing in your face.

I'm so glad we found this restaurant. Fast, friendly service, and excellent food. Their portions are very generous. We have to be in Waupun most of summer. Now we have a "favorite" place to eat.

Very good food ,Large servings good service.Drive from Eden at least 2 to 3 times a month.

servers was just ok.had 2 different people i wasn't sure who to tip.the flies though omg!!! flies flies flies .
