I've eaten here 8 times in the last month. The prices are extremely fair for the quality of the food that they serve. I have had the bagels, bacon, hashbrowns, American fries, pancakes, eggs, cinnamon rolls, fresh brewed, iced tea, they were all great. The toast is made with their fresh in-house baked breads: pheasant, white, sourdough and a multigrain. They are all exceptional.Examples of how reasonably priced the food is:Bagel with butter 1.692 eggs with toast (yes, the killer toast!) 3.99You can get a single giant pancake for 2.99!See what I am talking about!! The thing that is incredible is the food is great too!!! The workers are all very nice and greet you with enthusiasm! Nice atmosphere too! (I haven't been to the other location)Overall a 10/10, I just moved to the state last month and on my second day I found this place. Been eating here ever since.....

To anyone looking for the best catering in the Rockford area, look no further, this is THE best around. When I first called Mary's Market and asked to speak with the person in charge of catering, Laurena took my call and we had the most pleasant conversation, really hit it off from the get-go. She was super attentive to all our needs and went the extra mile every step of the way to ensure we had the best menu for each breakfast and lunch she and her staff were creating for us. We were on a big production for a photoshoot and needed our crew to be well-fed and happy with each meal, which is no small feat. Laurena truly knocked it out of the park! We needed a bit of "hand-holding" and she was happy to chime in and help us along the way with any questions we had, and the food was AMAZING!! From what I recall, my favorites were, Market Strata (sausage), taco bar (order extra guacamole, it's incredible), stuffed mushrooms, seedy bagel sticks (make sure you toast them right before eating), and OMG the gourmet cookies!!! These might be the best cookies ever. They're impossible not to eat, no matter what diet you're trying to stay on. SO many great options and really, all the food was great.. and the service matched the greatness. We even had some days up in Whitewater, and they were so wonderful to accommodate us up there. They've got brand new vans that can hold all their carts and trays, and everything arrived warm and stayed warm for the shoots thanks to their chafing dish racks and sternos. I could go on and on about the food but truly it was Laurena that made this experience so wonderful. Thank you so much for helping our production receive the best catering we've ever had!

First, they ran out of cold brew. I asked for an ice coffee and the cashier was very confused. I basically had make my own by adding ice to coffee. Cool.Then, it took over a half hour to bring us a simple skillet and wrap. The potatoes weren't even cooked, just browned in oil. My husband's toast wasn't even toasted, just two pieces of bread. My wrap was soaking wet and soggy from the oil from the potatoes. The whole thing was inedible. We are out of town so we won't be back regardless but if we were from the area, we'd never go back.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! I went in and ordered a tropical mango salad, which was $14.99 and another s$6.00 for protein. I chose chicken. So all in all $21 and change for the salad. I bring it home and open it and it's quite obvious that the quantity and quality is no longer the way it was pre-Covid. Additionally, the chicken that they charge six dollars for was so tough rubbery, and chewy that it almost felt raw. It almost felt like it wasn't even real chicken, I've never had chicken that texture was like this. For a restaurant that has been around for so long. It's quite disappointing that their quality has gone down so low.

A bit pricey and did not think service was very good!!Ordered some bagels, muffins and pastries to go for a group of kids for breakfast and have no complaint on quality of food. But the gentleman taking my order seemed like he didn't want to be bothered so early in the morning!!

Oh what a disappointment. I used to live in the Rockford area and Mary's Market was one of my regular places to go. Now we're in TX and here on a visit and almost out of time but we finally made it in. I convinced my husband to come too because we only have one car. We ordered together. I ordered at the same time. I ordered 2 Swedish pancakes and the fruit cup. There wasn't anything said about syrup or strawberry butter but it came with those so, in my mind, that's a waste of money because I didn't use either. I did specify I didn't want the lingonberry butter. When I asked for additional powdered sugar the lady brought a shaker over and said I could use it but she had to take it back. Usually, at other times I've gotten a small dish with powdered sugar so I can put it on as I wish. My husband ordered a bacon & cheese and avocado omelet. He doesn't like avocado so he asked that that be put on the side. It came in the omelet. He couldn't eat the omelet, he couldn't stand the taste of the avocado. And I've never seen an omelet with three ingredients having one of them put on the outside in its regular form. If it's a bacon, cheese and avocado omelet why wouldn't the cheese be on the inside. When she asked him about his side items he asked for wheat toast with peanut butter. She said ok. She never said anything about that being down with the condiments by the coffee. At the end of our meal, as we went to get up from our table, I noticed another table was having a problem getting any ketchup from their bottle. I was going to offer the one from our table but it appeared to be empty also. I went up to the counter to order two cookies and a hot chocolate. My hot chocolate was taking quite a long time so I asked if it was being made. The cashier said yes, the barista just had several to make. When she got to me it appeared she didn't have my order and that possibly I should have been served earlier. I drank a little bit of the hot chocolate on the way out to the car. It was only lukewarm and it didn't have any whip cream on it as displayed in the pictures in the store. All in all a very disappointing day.

What happened to Mary's Market Cafe. What a disappointment. Food was mediocre & bread was stale. The whole place needs a refresh! Too bad. This used to be a jumping place. Always full, always great food, great staff. I am so sad.

I have come to this location many times in the past. I have never been a fan of it so I stayed away for years. recently one of my girlfriends had told me how much and in the last couple months. I gave it another go and I am in love! everything was great. the customer experience is just incredible. All staff members seem so happy to be there. I haven't see this type of customer experience in a long time.All bakery and Dessert option were nicely labeled. It all looked so delicious. I had no idea what to get but Caroline was very help full by asking my likes and dislikes to help me decide on the tiramisu. This is the best Tiramisu that I have come across in ages.
