Marco's World Famous Pizza

Okay first time here. My husband has raved about their calzones (or "rollos") over the years. I tried the baked mostaccioli and it was just okay. Plenty of cheese but the flavor was just kind of meh. The meatballs were okay. The calzone is huge. It was also so greasy that it leaked on everything else. However, I was told that it is still just as good as it used to be. We saw a special for a free garlic bread and tried to use a $1 off coupon when calling it in. When picking up, we were told you can't use the coupon with the bread special. Not a big deal but maybe say that when we are placing our order.All in all, will try again but maybe just stick with pizzas or rollos.

Excellent food per usual and a great local spot that I've recommended many times. One of the only local pizza places close to my neighborhood that offers chicken as a topping. I'll definitely return soon.

A little pricey but overall pretty good pizza! Much better than most commercial chains.

Was referred to come here by a friend. I was in town from California and was told this is one of the best pizzas my friend has had. Take out or delivery only, so don't expect a sit down pizza joint. I ordered a very basic pepperoni pizza. Absolutely delicious. Pizza sauce has a sweet taste to it. Will return again if I'm ever in Milwaukee.

Last few visits in town I have tried new pizza places . Last night went back to Marcos. Haven't had this in a few years. OMG a Perfect Pie Every time. I have to believe I have eaten pizza from 100 or more establishments in Milwaukee and area around. Definitely still in my Top 3

With a bold statement like "world famous" built into the name, you better believe I was hesitant. Having now tried the pizza, I could see why other reviewers have a love/hate relationship with this pie. For starters, this is definitely a sweeter pizza sauce. Personally, I loved it but not everyone does and a sweeter sauce definitely changes the flavor profile. I went ahead and ordered a special with sausage, mushroom and onion. I definitely thought this toppings combo was delicious with a sweeter sauce, especially with the onion! Moving on, I saw they used canned mushrooms--personally, I prefer fresh but, overall, I like mushrooms on my pizza either way. Plus, this is more of an old-school joint than anything. The sausage was really good--really flavorful and not too greasy.Next, it's definitely a hand-tossed pizza which isn't my personal favorite go-to (I prefer a nice thin or cracker crust). Here, I can understand the appeal of a hand-tossed pizza with a recipe that's been used year after year. I think, for me, where the dough doesn't exactly rise (hehe) is that the dough, especially in the middle, was just way too soggy for me. Heck, the middle slices were falling apart when trying to dish it onto a plate. This pizza has even better potential if kept in the oven just a bit longer. Next time, I'll ask for mine to be "well done" and see what happens. Would I try it again? For sure. Do I think it's world famous? I'll leave that part up to you. ;)

Delicious pizza every single time we order for pickup. Pizza is prepared in a timely fashion. Highly recommend.

Been here twice now, both times the time for pickup I have been given have been accurate and the food was ready when I arrived once both times with in 25 minutes, the second time I was a bit late, but food was still hot. The pizza is amazing and so far quality hasn't wavered. It's classic local pizza place style hand tosses, tastes amazing. The wings were also great. Overall it's a bit pricey but most definitely worth the price.

Ordered a medium pizza and garlic bread. Was told 35 minutes . Arrived early to pick up and was ready. Got home and dug right in. Good food indeed. Has a slight taste of butter in the crust.

Really wish I could give these guys 5 stars but they don't know how to cut a pizza! Best in Milwaukee in my opinion but every single time I have to go over their sad attempt at cutting a pizza smh.
