Mama D's Coffee - Waukesha

Mama D's has quickly gone from a spot I tried one time on the way from Milwaukee to Madison to a spot I drive out of my way for. It's cute, cozy, warm, welcoming, and serves up fun lattes and delicious eats to boot. I'm laughing at my first review where I mention it's more of a grab and go spot. And, while it's small and they do a ton of grab and go business, I have enjoyed my coffee and bites in house every time I've gone. The seating they have is quirky and comfortable. Most recently, I enjoyed an outta this world gingerbread latte (so decadent) and an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with avocado added. It was an absolute hearty delight.The service is always super friendly and the prices are reasonable.Get to it!

I stopped in to Mama D's on a January morning, looking for a place to have breakfast and do some work while I waited for my son to get done with a class. Breakfast and coffee - check. I had the avocado toast (This is on the online menu, but not the in-store menu), and it was good. Heavy on the onions, but that was easily fixed by taking some off - ta dah! Coffee also was good.The staff was okay. Efficient, but not super friendly. In terms of the atmosphere, this is a place to get your coffee and go. It looks like it used to be a custard drive up type place. Benches are wooden so not real comfortable. There are a few cushions you can put on the benches, but they're pretty thin. Overall, it was so cold that I couldn't stay long. I imagine the heat takes over the in the summer months and it's scorching in there. So my recommendation is to wave a quick hi and bye to Mama D's and take your food to go.

First time here today for some coffee after the gym. Staff is very friendly and professional. Place is very cozy and family friendly. Coffees were made real good. Definitely coming back soon to try their sandwiches.

This place is awesome! The workers are very nice and great customer service. Also the ice storm is delicious and their pastries are fresh. Very pleasant experience and I'd definitely come back.

This coffee shop is a convenient place to stop in. I do feel a bit crowded when I walk in, so I tend not to go too often. The muffins are good this past week - I did enjoy the banana chocolate chip one. They had samples of flourless chocolate cake, and that was great too. I think for this area, the prices seem a bit higher compared to other spots in the area. I'm very understanding inflation has impacted cost of goods, but if I plan to spend around $15-$20 for lunch and a latte, I'd prefer a spot to sit down. There aren't usually spots available to sit when I stop in. I should also add, the coffee was average. It was a pretty cup of coffee, but without a space to sit down and enjoy it, we just put the lid on and had to take it to-go. Kind of defeats the purpose of latte art.

Mama D's is a great little coffee shop. The ambience is lovely and the food and beverages never disappoint. Today I ordered an iced chai latte with almond milk and a blueberry muffin. The chai was sweet and smooth. The blueberry muffin was fluffy and moist, packed with blueberries, and had a nice sugary crust on top. I've had many of their pastries, and they are all delicious. If you're not much of a blueberry person, I'd definitely try out the pumpkin muffin - it's just as yummy. They also have a rotating seasonal menu for beverages. I'm always impressed by the unique drinks they come up with. The Waukesha location is pretty small. There are only three booths inside and a couple of tables outdoors. If you go during peak hours, be prepared to not get a seat. You're better off taking your order to go and sitting at a nice little park or having a car picnic. There is a pretty large parking lot, so you shouldn't have any issues on that front. There is also a gender-neutral bathroom around the side of the building. I'd totally recommend trying out Mama D's.

Mama D's is one of the best brunch places in Waukesha. The coffee is always delicious and smooth. Recently, they have redone the inside to add more tables and make it more intimate. One of my favorite things about this place, though, is the outdoor seating options.

Very nice place with nice customers. Delicious Ugg Boot latte and yummy soup!!It slayed.
