Great atmosphere with a view of the deer outside the window we were seated at. Service was excellent and very attentive and friendly Steaks were excellent and tender

Arrived at announced the desk we here early and had a seat at the bar and had a well made martini and it was reasonably priced got a table by the window and ordered a steak medium rare and it came out perfect this is a place where locals eat

Wow! What a place. A true Wisconsin Supper Club experience. Step back in time...Order a Brandy old fashioned to start your experience. Move into the dining room for the unique experience to continue. Excellent food & service awaits as you take in the ambiance of being in the woods. Pay attention and you'll see some of the forest creatures up close.

Definitely the place locals visit. We had a party of 10 adults and 5 children. We called in advance and the table was ready, no wait despite the restaurant was nearly full at 5:30.. I had their 4 piece broasted chicken and the meat was very moist with a very tasty light coating. My wife had walleye and it was also moist and fried just right. It will now become our go to place when we visit Sheboygan again.

It was a Friday during lent so we sought out a Fish Fry while staying in the area 2 months ago.Yelp reviews directed us here and glad they did!!We posted up at the bar and had a few Wisconsin Old Fashioned's and after a 20 minute wait, our table was ready.I will say everyone was friendly and while it's filled with locals, alcohol brings everyone together!The perch fish fry was amazing as was the server and it was a nice portion served which was 2 large pieces and fries.I'm not sure we'll be back in this neck of the woods anytime soon but I would come back here for sure!Some parking available but a tip here. For an after dinner drink at the bar, get a Dirty Girl Scout. It's the perfect after dinner drink.

We stopped in on a Sunday evening and told it was a 40 minute wait for a table. We sat at the bar and had a drink and 20 minutes later our table was ready.We were greeted by our server, Katie who was friendly and attentive.I ordered the special which was 2 pieces of broasted chicken, beef tips and gravy over mashed potatoes and soup or salad. I opted for the seafood chowder which was so delicious.My wife ordered the Black River entree salad which was huge and packed with strawberries, orange, almonds, and red onions over greens. It was excellent and priced at only $13.50.This is a small restaurant with moderate noise level. All the employees were very friendly. We live 60 miles away but will return.

What a surprising find! made a detour her after reading the reviews and will likely become one of our frequent stops. We had the broasted chicken meal which came out hot and crispy. The meat was tender and juicy. Even the white meat was delicious. We sampled both of the made from scratch soups. both of which were quickly devoured by the kids. The kids meals (mini tacos, chicken tenders, and fish) were fresh with lots of flavor. All came with crispy and perfectly salty fries. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating with my daughters diet. We were sat very quickly despite being pretty busy and our food was served equally fast. Great little diamond that is worth the drive!

We stopped in from out of town on a Friday evening and were surprised reservations were encouraged given the smaller, local, hidden feel this place has. By the end of our experience here, we understood why. I got the fried fish sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. It's not often I'm so impressed by sweet potato fries. They're perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Nicely seasoned. The fish was crisp and high-quality as well. Flavorful tartar sauce and buns toasted to perfection. We'll be thinking about our meal here for some time and will definitely be back next time we visit Sheboygan.

Showed up at 5:45 on a Saturday, no reservation & 1:10 wait. We Secured a seat in the bar and were served within 20 minutes! Great service, classic WI Old Fashion was perfect, thank you Abby! Had fried green tomatoes and O rings for apps, delicious! Wife had prime rib, perfectly done! I had the ribeye, also fantastic! Great atmosphere inside and out as we watched several deer just outside the window. Could not have asked for a better meal and experience!

I hate writing bad reviews but our experience was not good. We went here based upon reviews and I don't know if it was just an off night or what but we were pretty disappointed. My husband ordered the haddock fish fry and the pieces were super thin and overcooked. I had the bluegill and it was good but not great. We both had fries and they were the ones that had some coating on them, not homemade, which I am not a fan of, though they were cooked well. The coleslaw was inedible and the color was off. Seemed really old and flavor was not good. Tartar sauce was fine though salad dressing based versus mayo which we prefer. Rolls were good. He had a beer and I had an old-fashioned which was not good. Tasted like nothing.
