Mad Rush Pizza

This little place in Mequon Public market is a gem. Seen this place over and over and decided to try it today. The pizza was delicious with as close to wood fire as you can get without an actual fire. However more than the pizza is the man who runs it (assuming the owner). Super friendly and making accommodations just to add that extra touch (for example cutting extra slices for the kids).Will be back!

I've been a fan of pizza my whole life. And was happy that this place open near my home. I ordered the sausage mushroom it was quickly made the oven is every fast for the amount of food that goes in. The pizzas can be customized any way you like. I added some parm red chili and honey. This small business is where Laron the owner does all the sourcing for the ingredients a few times a week. The sausage was hand pinched sized from the new Scardina Specialties on Locust. Laron works all the hours from open to close. Fast fresh personal pies! 8" personal pans made to order. There is pizza, soda, and that's it. Simple!! Pizza is life and the cool vibes and pizza in under 5 min is great. Friendly service in a cool location. Make a mad rush to this tasty pizza!

Absolutely worth it!! Large pepperoni $25, handmade. Probably the best I've had since I went to an upscale place in NYC! The owner is always there with a smile and the wait time is only about ten minutes! I've yet to hear a single complaint. This place is a true gem! Check it out!

Oh HELL NO! We heard some good things a bout Mad Rush Pizza so stopped in at about 5:00 on a week night. The entire Mequon Public Market place was completely empty and so was the Mad Rush Pizza stand. The ovens we on and there was loose Italian Sausage sitting out on the counter, apparently thawing out. Not on a plate, a pan or even on paper. This was not on the back counter but on the front, public counter. We waited 12 minutes, calling out occasionally to see if anyone was around. Nothing!. The waiting wasn't our big problem. The unsanitary conditions were. There are other places to get great pizza. For us,,, this was not, and never will be one of them.

SO DELICIOUS! We go all the time, our kids love it too. The sausage is so fresh with amazing flavor, and the crust is the real surprise it has the perfect amount of fluffiness and crunchiness. You can't stop eating this pizza!!

They provide quality and ample ingredients in a super short, made to order, time-frame. It is a really nice addition to the Public Market. TASTY.

ordered a 14" sausage and pepperoni pizza for the first time. The pizza is the best I have had in a long time. Crust is perfect as well as the cook on the pizza. Definitely had enough toppings on it for my taste. Quick and friendly service for a one man business. Will definitely be going back there again.
