Ingredients brought in fresh from Chicago.Guacamole is fresh and "Picante" (spicy).Recommend the Huaraches: Corn dough (masa) shaped into an oval then cooked and fried, covered with cooked marinated meat, cheese, shredded lettuce and diced tomatoesAlso recommend the delicious tacos. Pictured is a spicy pork taco on corn Tortillas In the butcher department, purchased Chicharrónes (pictured) still warm from the fryer! Deliciouso!

We live in the Lupita's neighborhood and are never disappointed with the quality of their food. Very authentic and flavorful Mexican. We ordered 100+ tacos for a graduation party this past summer and they were a huge hit! Everyone wanted to know who made them. If I could give the guacamole 6 stars, I would.

When I am in the mood for real Mexican food, this is the place I go to. Most of the time I get the chicken burrito ,but I am not afraid to try new things. The tongue taco is really good as well. I know it sounds more like bazar foods, but it taste like a tender steak. They also have a market, so you can shop there when you want to cook your own Mexican meal.

Authentic Mexican restaurant and grocery store. Someone said to update but updating the restaurant and the charm goes away. The service was excellent. The owner does the cooking and her daughter is a server. She was sweet, friendly and attentive. It is truly authentic. Smells a bit like cleaner when we walked in so at first it turned us off but glad we stayed. I had the vegetarian tostada and bean burrito. Burrito excellent, tostada average. My husband had a chicken milanesa torts and the chicken was very tender. Sandwich was very good. Someone in our party had a chorizo taco and chorizo was dry but the carne asada was very good. We would return.

Lupita's is my family's favorite restaurant in the area. The food is delicious every time, and it tastes like real Mexican food. The birria de chivo is rich and flavorful, the lomo de res en chile de arbol is spicy and full-flavored, the camarones a la diabla are downright fiery, the tacos are excellent -- I usually choose some tongue and some steak, but the chicharron tacos are unusual and delicious too -- really, everything there is a great choice, and you should stop reading this review and go get Lupita's.Really. Go already.

I feel like I'm giving away a secret by telling people how good it is.If you are stuck in the small town food rut this place will be a relief. Family owned and operated. Real mexican food and very tasty! Fresh ingredients , not canned.There are many mexican restaurants in Wi but, not like this. I have eaten a lot of items from the menu and am still singing their praise. The menudo is awesome! Remember to wash it all down with a big Horchata

First time here visiting from California and loved the food! The place is very clean and everyone was so nice and felt like home. Highly recommend. I ate tacos but I hear the burritos and tortas are also great! Must try!

The only reason I'm not giving it an all out 5 is because I haven't tried everything yet. Lol Love this place though, very authentic, great food. If you've ever eaten real Mexican food, this place will not disappoint. Can't wait to take the rest of my family here.P.S. If you are expecting a flashy city restaurant, this place is not for you. What they lack in cheesy decorations, they make up for in REAL food :)

The place could stand to be a little cleaner and much more updating is needed and the groceries are rather dated But, the staff is very friendly. Burritos are a 4, ambiance is a 3, price is a 5, Therefore, it is a 4 overall. Great option for an affordable lunch.
