Lung Fung 2

Excellent meal and service, and obvious that this restaurant has a busy take-out business! Very flavorful, crisp veggies, and not too much heat. Egg roll with a little bit of a peanut flavor. Fried rice ok. Excellent value!

New to Rockford area and looking for good Chinese food. Lung Fung 2 didn't exactly hit the mark. We ordered...BBQ pork fried rice. Positive No carrots and peas and other things that don't belong in fried rice.Negative Wayyyyyy too salty. Beef and broccoli.Positive Decent flavor.Negative We were able to count and actually only had 8 pieces of beef in the whole dish. Sooo much sauce.Not sure if I'll order from Lung Fung 2 again.

Finally a good Chinese restaurant in Rockford! We enjoyed absolutely everything I had brought home. The shrimp egg foo young is so good - crisply edges, lots of shrimp, and yummy gravy! The vegetable egg rolls are huge, but were gone in no time. It's a little pricey, but food prices are now high, and so it's very understandable.

I am so torn. I want to really like this place. But please cut down on the salt! I feel like I'm gonna die of header attack from eating my food. And please add water on your bulk rice? Half the time it's hard. I'll still go back. I'm hoping they'll fix what's broken. I like their eggrolls. They even give you free soup at lunch dine in. Those are awesome.

As always, it was fabulous. I tend to pick the same dish every time (Sweet and Sour Tofu). It really doesn't ever disappoint. Might not be the prettiest but to me it is the tastiest. Veggie egg rolls are amazing and crispy. Staff is always so polite. We be back!

Looks like new owner or new cook. Went there for lunch looking for to the lunch specials and not as good as it was. No soup any more. Had better at happy wok for cheaper.

The Lady. Manager...that answers the phone...Extremely, beyond..RUDE!!!! She, made ne cry!!!

We had a small issue with 1 item in our order, nothing in regard to the quality of the food just what we received, I left a comment on our order and I got a call back in what couldn't have been 10 minutes, heck we weren't even done eating, but they made good on it so we really don't have any complaints, Mistakes happen but it's how they get handled that makes all the difference. Everything tasted great and that's why we drive from Belvidere to get it.

Spent close to $60. & didn't get what we ordered. Ordered General Tso chicken - received orange chicken Pork fried rice was nearly tasteless. Egg rolls were ok.Would NOT recommend & will not be patronizing this establishment again.

Just called lung Fung two in Rockford Illinois got hung up on four times in a row.Didn't even get to open my mouth. Previous owners had good food and good customer service very pleasant place to eat. The new owners may want to think of hiring somebody who has good customer service ; that will answer the phone and allow you one minute to say something. I was a regular of over 30 years between the Belvidere location and lung fung 2 in Rockford . No more.
