I had my first lumpia back in San Diego where Lumpia City began. I've become a LC groupie now, following them around the country! These lumpias are so delicious. Simple yet diverse. Easy and fun to eat. I can't stop eating them in fact. The mac n cheese are my favorite but literally every single recipe they bring out is delicious. Love the siracha pork too, perfect amount of spicy. Alexa and Sam are so professional, kind, and hard working. Can't wait to see what they come up with next.

We were at Third Space Brewery and they were parked there for dinner. We tried the Mac n Cheese and Carne Asada (I didn't try the meat one) and both were very tasty! Because they cut them in half it makes it easier to share. One sauce was a ketchup base and the other I can't recall, both were very good. Looking forward to seeing them around!

Lumpia City is a new food truck to the MKE market. We happened to catch them at the Pabst Brewery opening - one of their first few events. If you're a dope like me and don't know what lumpia is - well - it's a delicious Filipino creation that reminded me of a spring roll. They're crisp rolled sticks filled with yummy fillings - some pretty creative ones from this truck for sure. The menu is changing obviously but they make meat, veggie and dessert lumpia. An order of 6 (cut in half so 12pcs) was $10. I got a mix - 1/2 were seasoned beef which was honestly pretty boring and the El Carne version which adds veggies and some heat. That one was delicious! Sadly, I missed out on siracha pork. The lumpia were served hot, crispy and with a nicely flavored aioli for dipping. Despite the crowds, the staff was on point. Everyone was nice, my food came up quickly and it was quite tasty. Definitely worth a stop if you see them around town, or stop at Sugar Maple on Wednesdays where they'll be hanging this summer.

Definitely glad to have come across this food truck during the Traveling Food Truck Tour at the West Allis Farmer's Market. I enjoyed the pork and the chicken poblano lumpia rolls. The macaroni and cheese lumpia was okay. I also enjoyed the fries. The plate was definitely a work of art. It almost looked too pretty to eat. Almost. Haha.

I checked out this truck at Food Truck Friday in Morgan Park (part of Bay View Gallery Night). I like that they offer something different from other trucks in the area. I had the mac & cheese Lumpia with fries. The Lumpia were really good (mac and cheese was flavorful and not mushy) and I was really glad they were sliced so they'd cool off enough for me to eat, and it made it much easier to share. The fries were OK. A little too much paprika for me (not a ton of flavor, just a dusty texture). I'm a fan of the dipping sauces. I like that you can order a variety of Lumpia in an order, but since there was only one vegetarian option available, I had to go all mac. It was a popular truck, so there was definitely a wait; longer than I'd expect, but that might just have been because of the time/event.

LC came to the Franklin business park today. I have to say the lumpia was amazing. I did a mix of chicken, steak and the cheese mac as well as the fries. It was all delicious! Come back again! It was great to try something different for lunch!

Went to an event at the West Allis Farmer's Market and saw this truck and was intrigued. They did not disappoint. My wife and I got an order of 6, trying each flavor they had (Mac N Cheese, Sriracha Pork, Carne Asada, Chicken w/ Corn and Poblano). Got the cilantro aioli on the side. The order took a few minutes as they make everything fresh, and was the food ever delicious! Crispy, flavorful and addicting! The chicken with corn and poblano was by far the best. Hopefully this truck will be back for the other 4 dates that this event is scheduled!
