Lucy's #7 Burger Bar

I love Lucy(s)!!This is such a gem of a restaurant. Great atmosphere, great food and great staff.I sat at the bar and had great service from the bartender. She made sure we were well taken careof. Ordered some wings that were better than most I have had across the state. The way they prepare and cook them is just unmatched.I am slightly disappointed that they no longer do stuffed burgers, but their smash burgers were quite delicious. I have always found the Mac & Cheese burger to be my favorite and definitely recommend. If you are ever in Beloit for whatever reason, this is a great spot for lunch/dinner!

Food was not hot. Buns and toppings were ice cold, patty was only warm and not hot. Long wait for drinks and food, no napkins. Service was very lackluster

It's been many years since I've been here and the food is different now. The service was good, we joined the yelp waitlist which did not take long at all. They used to serve stuffed burgers which were pretty good but now it's smashburgers. I chose the plain jane but added bacon and beer cheese. The burger had very little flavor and the fries tasted old as if they had been just sitting under a heat lamp. Shake was average. It was busy inside and many people at the bar, I'd go for a drink but food was very much lacking.

We drove out from Milwaukee because we'd heard this place was great and it did NOT disappoint.From the perfect start with delicious drinks to the PERFECT cheese curds and homemade ranch. Including a thoughtful server who suggested grabbing the remaining ranch before he cleared our curd plate. To one of the best burgers I think we've had, ever, the Mac n cheese burger, we couldn't have asked for better. It's a cute place, in a great location and our server even mentioned that we should come back on a Saturday for the farmers market that takes place right along that street. If somehow you manage to not be totally full when you leave. (We planned ahead and split our burger) There's also a great stop right across the street for a treat after.

Came here with my husband after trying to find a burger somewhere new. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, and the bartender was very friendly. The menu features a variety of creative toppings, but my burger was lacking flavor. I had a smash mushroom swiss burger with grilled onions. I was surely hoping for more flavor. This place could be fun for a cocktail or two, and maybe even a different burger. I'd give it another try later down the road.

I ordered the Wisconsinite with chips and I really enjoyed it! It had slices of bratwurst and beer cheese. Because it was my first time there, the bartender Leigh Ann, suggested that I try their dessert fries. They were like mini churros! She also suggested I try the Blumers root beer and that went well with my meal too.

Not a fan of their fries but a good burger. Simply think the "juicy Lucy" style (cheese stuffed burger) is not my style. The burgers must be cooked to med-well in order to melt the cheese. I will take it the old fashioned way. Nice staff, our server was very friendly and attentive.

Lucy's, you stole a piece of my heart and broke it at the same time. I might be in cardiac arrest but I have a smile on my face. The cheese...the melted, oozing, creamy, sharp, curdled cheese. After eating my burger I felt like it was my first day as a contestant on the biggest loser. The cheese was falling out of places no one ever thought cheese would be falling out of. I mean it was inside, outside; it made its way into every crevice and corner. And on top of it all we had fried cheese curds. Crisp, golden brown, dare I say delectable. These things are more of a frikin magic trick than an appetizer. They are fried crunchy...you pop 'em in the ol' mouth hole and that hot oozy cheese starts to come out of its golden shell. And it doesn't stop there, oh no, once you start chewing the lil buggers go back to squeaky right before your taste buds. It's the darndest thing, it's piquant....it's, it's down right magical.Now have you, I arguably got the cheesiest burger they have (Mac and cheese burger), but I wouldn't have had it any other way. Creamy cheddar packed inside the beef, sharp curdled Mac on the outside, with it all blending together into one Wisconsin gut Buster. If you are currently in the mood for a good burger, good cheese, and are a bit too regular if you catch my drift, swing over to Lucy's. If it ain't juicy it ain't Lucy's. Eat up.

The staff members are so friendly, the burgers are good, a fun place to go... if you're in the area stop in.. ... our server was Sabrina , !!! So sweet and kind!!!

I haven't had Lucy's' in almost two years. We ordered tonight, but sadly, the quality has gone downhill. The burger patties were overcooked, dry, and so salty that I couldn't taste any other flavors. The best part was the bun. I remember the fries being delicious and hand-cut, but sadly my fries seemed like prepackaged, frozen fries. A friendly suggestion would be to adjust costs to reflect the quality of the food served.
