Best Mexican food in all of Illinois. Al Pastor burrito add jalapeño = twice a month for my wife and I. We dine in and bring our son - great artwork and music - totally authentic vibe and place is brand new and super clean.

Yummy tacos de asada. They even added onion and jalapeño as a nice touch! Will be coming back!

Service was good and friendly but the food needed more seasoning. I wanted to order the steak Tostadas, but ordered the Torta by mistake. It was a good mistake because it was the first time I tried a steak Torta. It was okay. I think it would have been better if it was seasoned well. It lacked the flavors. The restaurant decor was very nice and they had Mexican music videos playing on the TV.

we love trying new to us Mexican restaurants in the area, so we tried this place while doing laundry next door, very pleasantly surprised!! Walking in , loved the decor and how clean and welcoming the environment was .We ordered the steak tacos ! Everything was fresh and delicious, taste was excellent just and outstanding presentation and effort. Can't wait t come back and try something else on the menu. The only reason, 5 stars wasn't given...... Cashier nor the cook we're wearing required. Face mask..... cmon, folks, we gotta dress up!

We were excited to have this place so close to home however when we went here...we were greeted with A LOT of attitude and rudeness. When we asked for guacamole you said you don't carry it...your a Mexican restaurant!!! Very disappointed- don't waste your time there are PLENTY of great Mexican places in Mundelein

Family run restaurant. The food was really good. Nice place to come for a affordable meal with friendly service.

Good food, great service. The space is a little small for larger groups but we made it work with the staff's help. Will return.

I live in Chicago where you can find a good taco spot in every corner but no so Mundelein are but I would say this place takes the 1# spot in the area. Great service great food and I love that they give complimentary Nopales and Chile's with every dinner.

Food is very good, steak tacos were great. What was not amazing was the service. We were treated very poorly and basically ignored while hispanic patrons were waited on and checked back in on. If you are white, you will not only get attitude but they did not even once check on us or ask if we needed anything. Excellent food, poor service if you are not hispanic.

Im not one to write reviews, but the food was bad, I ordered 3 steak sopes, the meat tasted as if it was reheated from yesterday, it was hard and did not have flavor. The staff was very friendly but the food needs some work.
