Los Cantaritos Authentic Mexican Restaurant

I had a taste for Spanish and decided to try this place for takeout. It was fast delivery with DoorDash when it arrived it was still hot. I ordered the beef fajitas meal. It came with three sauces , chips, and rice and beans. It was very large I was able to have a lot leftover for lunch the next day!.The fajitas was flavorful and the sauces came in the different heat levels. As far as the rice and beans it's pretty mid. I am interested in trying some of the Birria items on the menu , they look delicious.7/10

Passing through town and stopped for lunch after reading the other reviews. We ordered beef Birria tacos. They were excellent!!! My husband and I have enjoyed Birria tacos from other establishments across the country, and these were some of the best we have tried. Our hostess/ waitress was very friendly and attentive , the seating area and bar had a nice vibe. The restaurant was mostly full and many to go orders were also being picked up. The parking lot was busy. It appears to be a popular local establishment and with good reason.

the meat in the fajitas was super tough but flavor was good but if you can't chew it up then it's a waste of 20.00

I was on the look out for a Birria taco in Kenosha, which if you've ever tried searching, is practically impossible. Luckily, I stumbled upon Los Cantaritos and they just so happened to be a short drive from my house! Fair price for a dinner considering how filling it is! The consomé was very delicious, and the Birria quesadilla was also very good! I wish it had a little more cheese and a little less meat, but that's just my own preference! It was delicious and this absolutely has become our go to taco joint! The green tomatillo salsa was absolutely amazing. It tasted so fresh! Probably the best I've ever had, and I've had a handful in my day! The building is small, not too much room to sit inside, but it's a perfect take out option. The inside is currently closed for dining in due to COVID, and there was a decent amount of people waiting for their food (which made me assume I picked the right place to order tacos). If you're looking for a quick, affordable, Mexican fix, this is your place!

The food was flavorful and delicious. Received a delivery dinner of the chicken quesadilla meal and I was rather disappointed with the quesadillas. They were more like three small mini-tacos. For the price I was hoping for it to be more... filling and substantial. I finished my meal, rice and beans included, and was still hungry. If I order from them again I will certainly try a different meal. I also have this thing where I like to base my 'likeability' of Mexican restaurants on the quality of their guacamole. I give this place a 6 out of 10.

Literally one of the best Mexican places in Kenosha. Food is always amazing there staff is friendly. There mexican corn is the best

Fajitas were delicious and fresh as always. My go to place for any Mexican food. The staff is friendly and restaurant is clean.

Ordered food(Mexican corn) it was missing half the ingredients. Called to complain and was told I could go back and get replacements prepared the right way. The owner gave me a bad attitude. Will not go back to this place.

If you want real Mexican food this is the spot. They have friendly service. It's a small place put the ambiance has a lot of there culture infused in the art work and craftsmanship. It's a family owned restaurant. The food is delicious!!!!!!!!
