Looney's Pub

This bar is located off Route 83 in Antioch, north of Grass Lake Road. I parked my car and was a little confused where the front door was located since there are so many entrances(doors) to this place. I met my Fiancé for a drink. He had already ordered a grilled chicken wrap which was served with French Fries. It was fantastic, complimented with lettuce tomato and onion. Rob was drinking a Miller Lite bottle while I had a Tito's lemonade. The pizza was 1/2 off tonight, however I decided to try the Brisket pizza which is considered a specialty pizza so I didn't receive it for 1/2 off, but I didn't care I wanted to try it. It was awesome it was thin crust and I was so excited that I had leftovers.The establishment was clean, along with the bathroom. I was impressed with the service and greeted right when I walked in the door. The crowd was small, however everyone knew each other since they were regulars. I will be returning. It was a wonderful experience for a first time visitor, I live in WI and this place was worth the drive.They have many specials during the week which make the drive worth it. Friday is all you can eat fish fry with a choice of beer battered, baked cod, or sea bass.I had a wonderful Sunday afternoon here. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I met Lisa the owner who suggested adding the wonderful stingin' honey garlic sauce to Rob's chicken wrap. Once Lisa left for the day, Donna took over and she met our every need.

This is a typical dive bar but with great pizza & kind service! I have visited here for a drink before and it is a typical older bar environment. Not too busy for a Saturday night. We had good service as well. They do have events and specials throughout the week. The bartender recommended us to try the pizza so we gave it a try tonight & it was delicious! We opted for bacon and pineapples. It is a homemade pizza, crunchy & flavorful- I recommend trying it out! Plus 1/2 price pizza on Tuesdays! Check them out, this is a cool spot. Will be back for more pizza!

We had a really nice time! A large group of us went after work for a celebration. We all had several drinks, appetizers and also a few dinners. The food was good, the drinks were good and (reasonable as well) and the service was excellent. Everyone was pleased and satisfied. I heard the manager working it out with a waitress to stay and accommodate our large group. It was clean and pleasant inside although outside isn't much to look at. We will be back.

A nice looking house pub on a busy street many bars like this long been bulldozed unfortunately in Chicago and DuPage County. This place is cool and simple looking typical of a rural bar and has a cool vibe for Americans to hang out and business like this once really dotted thev landscape. Not much of a beer selection but an overall cool gaming spot and establishment to chill

Food is descent. Good bar food, wings, bar food. Service is great. Liquor prices are high for the area. Johnnie Walker Black, really small pour for $10+. Do carry out and drink at home.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Place is terrible not sure how they are still in business. Especially with Covid they have no done any of the guide lines put in place. They made an outside area but still had people inside. I would never go there again.

Excellent food and amazing staff. I love them all. The owner Lisa runs a smooth operation. My favorite place ever!

Great food good drinks Best bartenders ever! Robin and Matt were fast and efficient. The owner is very kind and outgoing, we will be back

This is a pretty fun dive tavern. It used to be a German restaurant. The bar server (Amber, I believe) was very attentive to me, made sure I had a fresh vodka tonic when needed.I had a pizza. They are fresh made, no frozen Tombstone so be ready to wait about 20 mins. It will be worth the wait. I want to try the homemade meatloaf sandwich my next visit.They do have live entertainment. Tony and the Affects were playing when I visited.All in all a very nice tavern for food and drinks

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - what a dump! Arrived at 6:45 on a Friday night to a very frazzled, frantic and unfriendly waitress who basically said they had nothing good to drink when rushing us through our drink order so we ended up with rum and cokes. Waited an hour and 20 minutes for a fish fry which never came. Asked repeatedly how much longer and was told 15 minutes. Other parties who came in after us were being served so we got up, asked for our tab which was $20 for very weak drinks and left. Can't believe they didn't offer to comp our drinks nor did they apologize for the horrible wait. The waitress with the bad attitude was actually trying to justify why other people were served ahead of us. Ugly on the outside and inside. AVOID!!!!
