I don't ever order burritos at a restaurant (it's practically sacrilegious for this Mexican) lol but let me say Tapatio's burritos are delicious. I freakin love that they don't fill the burritos with rice. I want a flavorful burrito, not a soggy, rice filled excuse for a burrito. The burritos are full of meat and all the good stuff. Want some beans in there too? Sure, but it's not going to be stuffed to the brim with just refried beans. The burritos are huge too. I look forward to walking to this taco truck because I know I can count on them to consistently provide a decent meal (or 2, they are seriously big burritos) at a reasonable price. Also, the salsas are some of the best I've ever had. If they offered containers of this, I would probably resort to not making my own at home. The red salsa is sooo good!

I was here running some errands at the grocery store while I saw the food truck and would like to give it a try. There were quite some people already lined up to order, so I waited a while to order and get my food.I had the 5 mini-taco plate. Just by seeing the tacos, it is not difficult to tell that they are very authentic Mexican style. Double soft shells, with cilantro, onions, and you can also have a jalapeño. The plate came with five tacos and you could choose up to three flavors (chicken, steak, pork, chorizo, etc.) it also came with both red and green chili sauces. I really enjoyed the rich flavor and the tenderness of the meat. The shells were also very corny and the flavor from the meat has penetrated the shell and make it really the next-level. The price is also fair ($8.5 for 5 mini tacos).I would definitely come back again and would like to recommend it to everyone who wants to have some authentic but cheap Mexican tacos!

We've seen this taco truck around for years now, but never remembered to drop by when we're on our way to get a bite to eat. But for the last few weeks, it has been on the forefront of our minds, and boy did they NOT disappoint. Regrets for all those days that ended in "y" that we didn't go here for tacos! It's a simple menu: tacos, quesadillas, tortas, and burritos with your choice of meat (al pastor, cabeza, lengua, pollo, chorizo, tripita, and carne asada). You order by the taco, so I tried al pastor, lengua, and chorizo garnished with onions and cilantro. (You can add lettuce and cheese if you want to gringo/a it up!) The al pastor was moist and flavorful - couldn't really make out a citrus flavor, but your girl was HANGRY so it was a two bite situation! The lengua was so tender, just a little on the greasy side, and the chorizo had great flavor with just the mildest hint of heat. All the tacos came with two types of salsa - green chile one which is quite spicy and a red salsa that seemed arbol chile-based and really tasty. I poured the red salsa all over my tacos. Oh, and let's not forget the surprise caramelized onions and charred jalapeños (not pickled). Can't wait to come back to try the frijoles charros after reading about all the good reviews on it! And I'll try to come back when I'm not so hungry that scarfing down tacos is the only option :D

If you are looking for something fast and cheap, look no further. But if you are looking for something not only fast and cheap, but also with lots of vegetarian options, and environmentally friendly serving supplies, this may not be the best place for you. It is a meat-forward truck that serves everything on Styrofoam plates and plastic bags.I got the tostada sans-meat. And at that point it was just lettuce, cheese, tomato, avocado, onion, and cilantro. Definitely not the worst, but it could've been better had there been beans or rice or something (the beans aren't vegetarian friendly because they are made with meat). One of my friends got the torta and loved it. Another friend got two tacos and also enjoyed them. Don't be afraid to douse everything in a liberal amount of sauce. They are very flavorful! Given the price, I don't have much to complain about. Plus, we got to eat on the side of the river watching people kayak past. What's not to love about that?

Nothing like sitting by the river with a good al pastor taco! My coworkers frequent this taco truck and I finally joined them one day. Cash only, and tacos are $2/piece but there are other options too. The pork was tender, the two salsa options were flavorful y picante, and service was fairly quick. However, not all of our plates got the onion and pepper and I would like to see the plates be something other than Styrofoam, and nix the plastic bags. A recycling station to be attached to the truck or on the sidewalk would be great!Overall, great value and tasty!
