Log Cabin Restaurant

This place is GREAT for groups. They take reservations, we came in with a group of 12 and we're accommodated. The staff at the bar was helpful and efficient when we all got drinks before being seated. Menu is extensive so everyone can find something they like. Food was honestly okay, nothing special BUT out of our 12 person group every single person got their food hot to the point where it took a second to eat it. That's unheard of lately and I applaud their service in that way. Our waitress was Allisha and she did an AMAZING job at accommodating all of us along with her other tables in a timely manner. It was much appreciated!

Stopped for breakfast. Ordered an omelet. At the time of the order there was 5 tables with people. 3 of which had their food. We placed our order and it took almost an hour to get our less than impressive looking food. And the waitress apologized and said she actually had to make it herself. It used to be so good.

Still 5 stars! Back thru on our annual. This place is clean, familiar staff who serve well. Great food comes as ordered and piping hot. Thank you and Keep it up Log Cabin!

We met some friends here for breakfast while we were in town. The food was good and the waitress was nice. We didn't seem rushed and were able to catchup and enjoy our breakfast and conversation.

The club sandwich is incredible here! Tasty food at a reasonable price for the hearty appetite! I'll be back!

Very cute decor, very cabin like! Pleasant waitress and staff. They just need to season their food more. I had the boasted chicken with their special seasoning...which I think they forgot to use. It was disappointing. Husband had their special burger, which also lacked a lot of flavor. He did enjoy the bloody mary with bacon. I enjoyed the Peach tea also.

This was the best walleye dinner I have had in a very long time. We have been to many different restaurants around the state for fish fries and this is by far the best. The restaurant was spotless, the service was fanominal I will be back.

Good food good service. Had a talk with the owner, good guy trying to do it the right way. Much better than previous owners.

The service was really good, and so was the food. And everything is reasonably priced. And does re.ind you of a log cabin, we liked it alot.

I don't have know what happened to this place? I was absolutely delicious. Now the menu has changed. No meatloaf, no specialty drinks, no Friday fish with perch. So disappointed. Who serves sweet corn with a fish fry? They served the best sliced bread from a local bakery. That's gone! This explains why there was no wait to get in on Friday. Normally it was packed. It's a very unwelcome change. This isn't homemade comfort food, like it was. It's frozen baked pies, corn from a can, no bakery bread, gravy from a can, the cod was not bad, but I want perch. We are in Wisconsin, I can get cod anywhere. Whoever owns this does not get it! My waitress was good that was the positive of the night. A young man asked us twice how the food was. Did he really want to know? Here is your chance. Follow the original owners footsteps. They had excellent food - dialed in!
